So, for Mystical I’m thinking that Jessica is on a date with a Born Again Christian type. The man is average looking but nothing remarkable about him. And they are talking about recent events but Jessica and Golden Girl are bored by the man.

So, I’m thinking the date gets interrupted by “Allies” because there is a crime going on which. What can I say, this IS a superhero game!

Jessica is never going on a blind date again. But she supposed that is what she gets for letting one of her co-workers set her up with a cousin. But she hadn’t been having any luck with dating apps, most men tended to stay away from women with children. The few who didn't tended to be creeps. But Jessica supposed there was a reason men her age tended to be single.

‘You could always just go to the bar and hook up with the first piece of hot ass you see.’

Ignoring the voice in her head, Jessica tries to pretend she cared about what he was saying.

“So that is how I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.”

But she honestly just did not give a damn and found him BORING! She was about to go to the bathroom and make up an excuse about an emergency that just came up when she heard a commotion on the other side of the restaurant.

Jessica looked towards the sounds of commotion and was actually relieved to see that the place was being robbed. Good, she could find a secluded spot and let Golden Girl take charge.

‘Oh no you don’t girl! You aren’t using me as an excuse to hide.’

‘What do you mean!? This is a robbery!’

‘And don’t you think your date will wonder where you ran off to? Besides, I don’t think I’ll be necessary.’

Jessica would ask what GG meant, except they technically were the same person and shared the same senses so there wasn’t much point in asking. Because Jessica saw a red blur and one of the muggers vanish. “You know, I have to ask. Why a restaurant?”

The speaker stopped running long enough to be visible, revealing him to be Mercury, the local speedster. “Are you just ****, or do you just think they have a lot of cash on hand?” And Superhero Partner/Fuck Buddy to Golden Girl.

The remaining criminals spun to face the young superhero, weapons raised and eyes full of panic. “Oh, come now. Why don’t you make this easier and just give up already?”

Does Mercury Intimidate them into surrendering? He only has a +2 Intimidate, but he might get lucky. I guess I need to determine stats for the Thugs. I'll set the DC at 12 since I don't imagine them having much in the way of Will Defense or Insight.

The thugs glance at each other, and Jessica can tell that they are considering their chances. Whatever their reasons the would be robbers slowly put down their weapons down and raise their hands in surrender.

“Good, I knew you looked like a smart group of fellows.”

To Jessica’s surprise, GG mutters in disappointment. ‘Well, that is disappointing.’

‘Why is that?’ As far as Jessica was concerned, this was a good thing.

‘Because if they hadn’t surrendered then this boring date might have gotten exciting.’ Jessica can hear GG mentally sigh in her mind. ‘But now we are going to have to stay here and give a boring police report about a boring attempted robbery.’

Jessica isn’t nearly as disappointed though. ‘Oh, I thought you would be excited to give a police report. After all, that Police Detective that you have a crush on might show up.’ Besides, this was a good excuse to end her boring date.

‘Oh, are you planning on flirting with him if he shows up?’ Jessica hadn’t been honestly, she had just been trying to change the subject and distract GG. ‘After all, he doesn’t seem to like supers, thus me. But a MILF such as yourself? Yeah, I could see him being interested.’

Jessica hadn’t considered that. But a Police Detective might at least be interesting. ‘At least he shouldn’t be boring.’ She considered that it might be rather rude to ditch her current date, but he had just been so boring!

Not only does the Police Detective show up, but he immediately notices Jessica to ‘Get her statement’.

It doesn’t take the cops long to arrive. In a city like this pretty much every place of business has panic buttons, plus a lot of people have panic apps on their phones, and Mercury could have called the cops for all Jessica knew.

It makes her wonder why anyone even bothers trying to pull of robberies like this?

When the cops do arrive, they are lead by the sexy Police Detective/Chief. As he takes in the surroundings Jessica sees his gaze turn towards her and for a moment they lock eyes. For a few moments they simply stare at each other. Until the man gives a small grin and makes his way towards Jessica.

‘Looks like he notices you.’ Jessica didn’t have a response to the voice in her head. Because honestly she hadn’t expected him to actually show interest. But as he got closer there was no ignoring how he was examining her body, his eyes lingering on her breasts. ‘Oh, he’s coming this way'.

Jessica almost shouts ‘Shut up!’ but manages to not actually say it. Instead she bites her lip while brushing her hair back. Ok girl, no need to panic. She isn't some high school girl flirting with your first crush. She is a grown woman in her 30s with two children.

The man approaches Jessica and for a few seconds the two of them simply look at each other. Jessica blushing as she tries to gather her thoughts while the Police Chief gives her a confidant smile.

He breaks the silence by extending his hand and introducing himself. “Officer Daniel Butler.”

Hoping her hand isn’t sweaty Jessica extends her own hand. “Jessica Brown” After a moment she adds “Ms. Jessica Brown.”

Hearing the Miss, Officer Butler’s eyes glance down quickly to her hands and when he sees her ring-less finger he gives her a small grin. “Well, Miss Brown. How about we go somewhere quiet so that I can get your statement.”

“Yes, yes of course.” Jessica then follows, doing her best to keep calm and slow down her pounding heart beat.

Trying to be encouraging, GG tells Jessica ‘Don’t worry girl, you got this. Just find someplace quiet and out of sight, pull of your dress, take off your panties, and get yourself some relief.’

‘I’m not a slut GG! I’m not going to fuck someone I just met.’ After a short pause, Jessica tells her other half. ‘I’ll get his number though.’

‘Well, I suppose that’s a start. Although after this I expect you to go out on the town and burn off some of this tension.’

Ignoring GG’s suggestion, Jessica follows Officer Butler to a back room. She knew exactly what GG was suggesting, but Jessica had no intention of going out on the town and having a one night stand.

After all that was GG’s job, her role. Jessica was the respectable and responsible one. GG was the wild one who got to have all the fun.

Author's Notes: Well this took a LOT longer than it should have. But I finally got it out! Not much happened honestly, but re-introducing characters (and giving a name to the previously unnamed Police Chief) is important.

Now maybe Jessica/GG can get to some good stuff :D
