Back to the present!

"I'm just getting some food for my apartment. You know, I've been staying by myself recently." Abigail spoke to Courtney with a lascivious gaze, licking her lip some. This **** a flustered reaction out of Courtney, her face turning hot pink as she turned to face away from Abigail. She placed both of her hands on both sides of her face, avoiding eye contact with her friend who now let out a loud snort. She couldn't help but laugh wildly, grasping a her stomach in response to her friend's reaction.

In the back office, Manager Kim raised a brow once she heard the sound of someone laughing. She didn't think too much of it, taking a look at the camera that laid beside her desk on a separate table. "Looks like one of Courtney's friends came in. How cute." Manager Kim watched with a smile on her face. She could only watch briefly before she was **** to turn her attention back to the paperwork that she'd been filling out.

"Abi! Don't joke like that! It's not funny!" Courtney finally gathered herself together, turning to Abigail with the most angry look that she could have. It was clear that she was forcing this look onto herself. It almost made Abigail want to laugh even louder. For the sake of her friend's sanity, she didn't laugh at her or tease her any longer though. That was for after work where she could fully take in her friend's priceless reactions. "You're too cute, Court." 'Court' was a nickname that'd been given to her when she was younger simply because it sounded a bit cooler than Courtney. She and her other friends usually made up codenames for one another when they were younger.

"Well, don't take up too much of my time! I've got to be ready for when another customer comes in!" Courtney says, finally sitting back down in the cushioned chair that'd been sent up behind the counter. Abigail would not longer waste her friend's time, now taking it upon herself to walk around the convenience store, grabbing all of the things that she needed and placing them inside of a small bag that the store offered near the entrance.
