Back to the dorms

You don't have a class this period, so you decide to head back with Parisa. She's very excited to pot her familiar. You, on the other hand, are looking forward to spending time with her. Estelle heads back to her own dorm, so it's just the two of you. As you walk, Parisa rattles off all sorts of information on treants. She really is excited about her familiar. When you get back to your room, you can't help but notice the number of plants she has on her side. Yours looks bare by comparison. Well, it's not like you had much to pack anyway. Absence must really be in your nature...

Oh! You remember the assignment for Elemental Affinity and ask Parisa what she's doing for it. "Let me show you", she replies excitedly. Once her familiar is potted by her bedside, she grabs another empty pot, some soil, and plants a seed. "My elements are earth and water so..." Pulling moisture from the air, she waters the seed. To your amazement, it starts growing immediately.

"Wow, that's amazing", you tell her.

"Thanks! I've had a lot of practice so it should be a piece of cake."

"I have no idea what to do for mine. Any ideas?"

"You have an affinity with void, right?" Parisa ponders the question for a bit. "Honestly, no. I think most uses revolve around negating other elements... I suppose you could snuff out a candle."

"I can do that without magic!" Still, if you can't think of anything else, it'll have to do.

"I believe the founder of House Wyvern had an affinity with the void element. You should go to the library and do some research. Or I suppose you could ask Aspecta for help."

Those both sound like good ideas. That being said, you had hoped to spend more time alone with Parisa. Still, you had the party to look forward to. It starts at dusk, so you have a few hours to spare. You thank Parisa for her help, and head out to learn more about the void element.
