Back to school special

Several celebrities have done promotional material or publicity stunts where they go back to their old high school after they became famous to reminisce and talk to old teachers and staff who remember them back when they were nobodies with big aspirations who weren’t going anywhere.

Billie Eilish was actually homeschooled, but the person who pitched this idea didn’t know that. Those who did tried to stop such a dumb suggestion from reaching her, but they were too late. Luckily, she thought it was a great idea. She thought it would be ironic, but also cool to experience something that she didn’t get to as a teenager.

So they made the arrangements, finding a school that she would have gone to near Highland Park, Los Angeles, and set up a film crew to document her first day in the life of a normal student. The school’s students weren't told about any of this directly, but the staff was and rumors started to circle around that Billie Eilish was doing a back-to-school special.
