Back to reality

Despite all the teasing, you and Mazzy agree to take a night off from the wild sex. After cleaning up and sitting down to relax, you both realize how exhausted you are. This weekend has been a whirlwind, and now that it’s ending you’re feeling the effects. If you’re honest, simply cuddling the happy little halfling is a joy in itself, and you can tell she feels the same.

Mazzy smiles as the two of you climb into bed. “We have plenty of time, I’m not going anywhere.”

You nod. “I know. We’ve only just started.”

She giggles as you pull her close. “And we can make up for it tomorrow afternoon!”

You chuckle, kissing the irrepressible woman gently. You both sigh, and settle in for a good night of sleep. Mazzy uses you as a pillow, and drops off immediately, clearly more tired than she let on. You rub her back, smiling to yourself as you drift off soon after.

Morning comes almost too soon. Mazzy gets up with you, though she’s clearly still tired, and stays with you through your morning routine. You remind her of how to get ahold of you, and give her a big kiss before heading out the door. Mazzy yawns as she waves goodbye, clearly planning to go back to bed.

Your work day goes about how you expected, and it doesn’t take long before your coworkers notice a change in your attitude. Naturally, they won’t let it go until you explain what happened over the weekend. What follows is a lot of good natured teasing, of course. The most amusing is the joke that since no one else would take you, you imported a girl from another universe.

Despite teasing, everyone congratulates you, and when Dave steps in and casually mentions that he’s looking into it as well, you see a lot of interest from a few of the guys. Of course, they also want to know what she looks like, and you realize that you don’t have any pictures of her.

Pulling out your phone, you send her a text, hoping it isn’t too much to ask.

Hey, the guys at work want to know what you look like, and my descriptions aren’t good enough. Would it be too much trouble to get a picture of you?

Mazzy responds almost immediately.

Oooh, showing me off, are we? Just a minute, I know just what you need!

You shake your head, laughing. You have no idea what she’s planning, but at least she is happy about it. After what feels like far too long for a simple picture, your phone pings again.

Here you go! Show me off, but remind them that they can look but no touching. Only you get to do that!

A picture pops up, and you practically drop your phone in surprise.

Mazzy is in your bathroom, having changed into a sexy, practically see through outfit. You stare for a while, then realize that the guys are all grinning at you, even Dave. He laughs and shakes his head.

“So, let’s see her, Brian! She must’ve sent something fun if you’re that flustered.”

Blushing, you hand over the phone. The guys all cheer and wolf whistle, clearly impressed. You’re not worried about showing them. Despite their rough edges, they’re mostly good guys. You hear another ping, and Dave laughs again as he hands the phone back.

“I think Mazzy had more to say.”

You take the phone back, and read the last message.

Now, hurry up and finish work so you can come take this off me!

Some of the guys clearly saw that. One of the younger guys laughs, giving you a thumbs up. “Hey, I’m just impressed you made it in today, Brian. If I had her waiting for me, I don’t think I’d leave the house!”

With a bit more joking around, everyone heads back to work. Dave comes over, giving you a grin and a nod. “Lisa and I put our application in last night. Hopefully we hear back soon!”

You chuckle. “Feeling a bit inspired, are we?”

Dave laughs. “That’s one way to put it. Just remember, try not to let her affect your work. Can’t have the old man out here, better to keep him in his office.”

You nod, getting back to work. Still, the image of Mazzy is fresh in your mind, and you can’t help but smile.
