Sean and I decided to eat at his apartment, honestly I just didn't want any surprise visits from 6B while eating.

Sean: How do you like it here?

John: So far so good, it seems like everywhere I go people know you. Are you secretly the mayor?

Sean: HAHAHA Not at all, but if you want I can introduce you to the mayor... I'm joking, I don't personally know her. I just go around, many persons have gone through this place, new comers like you looking for a place to stay as they lay roots in the city, I treat them right and in return they do the same.

Sean proceeds to tell me a bit about him, the building was the first place he lived on his own, he didn't own it back then, he was a tenant. The previous landlord was awful, the building was in shambles, when the landlord decided to sell as the city was forcing him to do a complete renovation if he wanted to keep operating Sean convinced his dad to buy it and fix it. Sean took over as the landlord and decided to treat other the right way. People come and go, they find their own places or upgrade to a bigger place, but he tries to keep in touch.

John: So, you're telling me you are a buddhist monk that gained enlightenment and immortality and now spreads goodness to his tenants?

Sean: Yes, but don't tell others!

I may never find out how old he is, what made him take this path in life or his full background, but I know for sure, Sure is a big part of this community.

Sean: Here take this.

I got a nice laminated card with just a seal on the front, "Sean seal of approval"

Sean: A guy I know makes this as a joke, he said to and them only to those I approve of. I mean I still get calls asking if I know such and such, so this cards are more a joke than anything practical.
