Avengers Tower

I was a little surprised to see where we had landed, all I can think about though isn't who I'm gonna meet but how I'm gonna explain the vision to them. Then I wondered how I was gonna convince them to help or convince them to work together in making any of the blueprints. The first thing I see as we walk in from the landing area? I see Natasha talking with Sue, Reed off in another area talking with two men I haven't met before.

When the professor speaks I see them all turn, two people drop their drinks as a few others either gasp or their jaws drop. "Good afternoon everyone." The professor barely gets those words out before he's practically swarmed with kind words, hugs and congratulations on being able to walk again. I hear him chuckle and see him smile at them, they spend a few minutes talking to him about his physical condition. I almost completely missed Natasha walking up to me, looking at me with a smile. "You did this didn't you? I thought you said you couldn't make wishes yourself?"

"Well... I recently found that I can make wishes like this, helpful ones anyways. Not for myself though..." I explained carefully, Natasha smiling before heading off to join the others. I saw Thor and T'challa come into the room, joining in on what was slowly turning into a celebration, at least that's what it seemed like was starting to happen. "I'm sorry but I'm afraid we can't celebrate just yet. I'm able to walk normally currently, but I'm still regaining my strength. That's also not why I asked for a meeting today." The professor explained to them as he sat down, a serious look on his face when he finished.

"Recently Zane here has been working himself into the ground, the other day he actually overtaxed his powers to the point they were unusable until this morning. A few of my teachers were concerned he was pushing himself too hard too fast. He informed me earlier today as to why, I would like to connect my mind to each of yours show it to you all." The first to step forward had been a man with a shield on his back, introduced himself to me as Steve and even shook my hand before allowing the professor to show him the vision that had affected me. It took a few minutes, but when it was finished the first thing that happened was Steve standing up only to go sit down elsewhere, looking VERY concerned. I heard Tony ask him what it was, Steve said it might be better for him to see it himself.

One by one, each of them had similar reactions, from shock to outright horror, even Thor and Strange looked deeply disturbed. It took a little time for everyone to come out of it, Thor was the first to speak. "Surely there has to be something we can do to stop these events?" The professor nodded his head at that. "Yes, it appears that there are numerous things we can do to fight this. The most helpful things appear to come from Zane's powers. He's been growing his power at a considerable pace, there's also been several items he's been finding that could be highly useful for such future encounters. Speaking of have you found anything else that could be helpful?" The professor started explaining, eventually asking me, all eyes turned my way as I nodded my head. "I've found more than a few things that could help. Starting in order of appearance there's the Adamantium, Vibranium and Uru that I got for completing missions. Then there's the Nth metal that I shared with who I could, speaking of I have more pieces of it now as well for the ones that haven't gotten any yet. Recently I started finding blueprints for different projects, weapons, armor and other such useful items. I have no way of building them myself though." I was barely finished talking when Strange, Tony, Thor and T'challa all approached me at once. "I may not be able to help directly with building such things, but I can take you too the best person I know of for such things. Originally I offered to take you to meet Eitri in exchange for a piece of the Nth metal, I think it would be better for you to meet him yourself." Thor explained to me. "My people in Wakanda are very good when it comes to making different weapons and technology, Shuri has hardly left her lab since she got her first look at the Nth metal you provided as well." T'challa informed me, Strange and Tony both looking like they were about to start talking at the same time.

I raised a hand for a moment, took a step back and pulled out large 6ft chest that I barely managed to get to the floor without dropping it. I opened it up to show numerous pieces of the mentioned materials, with the Nth metal being the most numerous. "Honestly I'd feel better entrusting each of you with what I can, but I have a mission that offers rewards if your willing to work together. No idea what the rewards will be, but every single reward I've gotten has been helpful so far, nothing has been a waste of time." I explained, sitting back down at the couch, the professor looking at me with surprise as Natasha stared into the chest with her jaw dropped. "There has to be dozens of Uru pieces here, these all came to you from your powers?" Thor asked, looking stunned. I said yes in response, then explained that was the case for all the materials, that the blueprints I had were acquired the same way. Natasha stepped away, saying she needed to contact the director whoever that was. Strange asked what kind of blueprints I'd gotten as they closed the chest. "One of them is something I'll have to handle myself, the others though include weapons, armor other things like that. I also have new info on how to make use of the Nth metal, to manipulate and work it into things but I don't know how helpful it will be..."

I explained as much to them as I could, handed off a piece of Nth metal to Tony and a couple extra pieces to T'challa, Thor, Reed and Strange in a wooden box for each of them. Tony almost immediately put the piece he got onto some sort of table that scanned it, that's when Steve asked me what else I'd learned about this Nth metal stuff. "It's something that works with magic exceptionally well apparently, it can bond with someone that uses weapons or armor made with it. Apparently once bonded it can also increase the powers and abilities someone has, I'm not exactly sure by how much or in what ways but this stuff is insane in what it can do as well as what can be done with it." Tony came back over at that point. "So these blueprints, you got them on you?" I tapped a couple screens and was able to pull out copies of them. "So far I've got a couple blueprints for armor and weapons mainly, there's one or two I might need to make myself though unfortunately. I've got quests for them in particular." I explained before passing over the copies of what I could, which included blueprints for a few different weapons, a shield, some pieces of armor and finally one of the robot blueprints. "Is that a robot?" Tony asked, Strange picking up the design first. "Looks like it, there doesn't seem to be any listed power source though?" "Apparently I can integrate my powers to it, it won't be sentient but it will be able to fight and do most things without needing a direct order for it." I explained a moment later.

Tony began to ask if the quest thing was real, being generally skeptical about the powers he'd heard of so far. I let out a sigh and looked at him. "Hold still Stark, something's about to appear in front of you." I sent party invites to Tony, Reed, Strange and Steven. "Hit accept and you can see some of what my powers do for yourself, or you can say no and just take what you've heard about my powers on faith. Your choice." Steve chuckled a little at that, looking over at Tony with a smile. I heard the professor laughing a bit alongside Natasha in fact. "Alright let's see what this... Oh! A HUD system? That's useful. Wait these bars here are supposed to be health, stamina and I'm guessing magic for Strange?" I heard Strange say yes to that, then they got close enough to see one of the quest screens I brought up, saying how I could claim the rewards now from my earlier trip into the survival training. "Alright now I'm gonna claim the rewards from what I did earlier." I noticed Natasha seemed to get closer, wanting to see as well, I realized everyone was surrounding me to see what would happen. I hit claim and watched as several DOZEN new pieces of Nth metal came falling out of NOTHING like I'd just hit a jackpot in Vegas. I saw a few treasure chests drop out as well, along with a few large crates.

"Well... That's new... Never gotten crates before." I said before moving closer, I got a screen showing that the crate I went up to first was full of Nth metal, 250 pieces of it in fact. I nearly fell back on my ass seeing that number, then I saw that there was an abundant amount of Vibranium in the next one as well. I got to the last one and was told that it was full of books, I sighed and relaxed visibly, thankful that it didn't have Adamantium in it. "So what's in the crates?" Natasha asked, Tony moving over to see my screen as I showed him and Steve what was in the other two crates. "So a metric ton of vibranium and Nth metal... The last one says it has books in it but doesn't go into more detail." I explained, Steve seeing for himself as Tony looked into the Nth metal crate. I pulled the crates into my inventory, able to separate them into smaller amounts now. T'challa came up at that moment. "I'm going to need you to bring the vibranium to Wakanda as soon as your able too. That is a considerable amount of Wakanda's most well hidden resource. Shuri will likely want to meet you as well to go over any blueprints you can share." I responded saying I'd talk to the professor about it, see if there was someone willing to go with me. When he asked why I explained what happened after I'd visited Reed, how I got kidnapped for a short time, he nodded his head in understanding and left it at that. Thor asked if I might have time to meet with a smith or two, possibly even Eitri, Tony coming up next asking about the quest for convincing them too work together on these projects.

I showed him the quest, reminded him that the Nth metal was especially effective with magic, in response he suggested working with Strange and I saw the sorcerer let out a sigh before nodding his head. T'challa suggesting working either with another magic user or perhaps someone else, in response the professor offered someone to collaborate with Wakanda in such endeavors. Natasha asked if there was a copy or two of the blueprints that could be shared with SHIELD, offering to work with anyone willing to get them made. I stopped Tony for a moment, asking if he might have something I could use as a fabricator for the blueprints I had quests for myself to handle and it would help the most with me getting them done. At first he seemed to be against it, Strange was nice enough to step in to help me with talking Tony into it though, using the logic that the more we're all able to get done the better chance we'll have against such threats.

Steve stepped up reminding everyone to be careful, there was a lot that wasn't known about this metal currently, he wanted everyone to be safe and not do anything foolish, which explained why he was staring Tony down for the most part during his speech. I shared a little more of how to make use of Nth metal, enough for them all to achieve combining it with either Vibranium or Adamantium, I kept the info that allowed a complete merging of the three metals to myself though just in case. Something told me I really REALLY shouldn't share that with Stark more than anything or anyone else. Natasha caught me for a moment. "So I've had to inform Fury about you, he's selected me to be your SHIELD contact in case anything comes up. I've had to inform him about your powers but the good news is he's agreed to keeping all record of your abilities off the books. The less people that know about you the better to say the least." With that she gave me a way to contact her, for emergency or any new developments more than anything. Though she did inform me that if I needed some help with transportation or escort she could likely help at least in some small way if nothing else.

I got a few more offers of assistance, Reed volunteering to work with the others to make the most useful things they could to fight off the dangers coming for our world. Tony saying he'd get a fabricator sent out to the mansion for me sometime today or tomorrow. Not long after that the meeting was winding down and people started gathering things to head out, the professor and I eventually heading out in the Jet, getting back to the mansion without trouble. We arrived back and I headed right to get back to training at first, I got stopped by Jenny though, she asked what my hurry was before the professor pulled her away, told me to rest for today, save more training for tomorrow. I asked him if there might be a chance of forge being available sometime to take a look at a blueprint or two if nothing else. I got a positive response before heading off to go relax and check on whatever else I might have gotten EXP wise from the quests I turned in or could turn in.

I got myself a few levels thankfully, ending up hitting level 64 and upping my stats a little bit, my stats looking like this now.

Looking around I saw my clones had leveled up again, instead of it saying LVL 5 though it said MAX. Wait... Did I do it?! Was it really maxed out already?! I saw that the max had been raised to 100 clones, I could summon groups of 20 at once, now they could survive more hits before getting dispelled and I could even take control of them from great distances to speak through them to others. This was great news! What made it better was that I saw some of my hardlight constructs had leveled up as well. I spent the rest of the day reading through and trying to practice magic, ended up making a wish to increase my magical potential by small amounts as I practiced. Eventually I got a new skill! Magic control LVL 1, it didn't allow me to manipulate Nth metal fully, hell I couldn't even start trying too yet. I would need to learn a LOT more about magic first. In the meantime? I summoned the max amount of my clones, sending 80 of them to go practice with magic while I sent 10 others to start looking into another place, the last 10 heading out and looking throughout the city, one of them finding a payphone to call Kingpin, explaining first who it was, second that I needed help with finding a place to serve as a base of operations where I can work without worries.

Some place that would be well hidden with lots of space, Fisk asked if I was asking for money for such a thing, I told him no, that I could bankroll it myself with enough time. He gave me a number, someone that could help me find a place like what I was looking for, said to let him know If I needed any more assistance. I asked him if there were any other experts that he knew of, experts at working with high end materials the could make weapons or armor. He said he knew of a few but they weren't exactly willing to speak to him about anything, so I asked if a piece of unheard material would get their attention, even said he could auction it off if he wanted. He offered to take a small cut of the proceeds in exchange and I sent a clone with a piece of Nth metal to where he had a man waiting, it would be taken to him directly shortly after that. With that business done I returned my focus to my original body, slowly getting up from my bed as my clones did their jobs, returned or began working on new tasks.

I opened the door to head for dinner, instead I found none other than Jean standing outside the door in casual clothes. "Hey Zane! Brought a surprise for you~" I didn't get the chance to ask what, she pushed me gently back to the room and closed the door.
