A sudden emergency

(So forgive me for this one, it's gonna be a bit of a whiplash in terms of tone. I honestly struggled a bit with making this chapter. In the interest of fairness I would think that sudden events like this would happen out of nowhere considering how often there's trouble popping up.)

She barely got the door shut before I got a message through the mental message system. "Hey Sugar~ I might be on mission for awhile, so I thought to set up a date or two for you. Tonight's a double date~ Have fun with Jean~" I stared at the message in shock, Jean giggling as she hugged me close, her immense tits pressing against me. "Just saw the message from Rogue~? Don't worry sweetie, we're gonna make certain your bed is NEVER empty~" The way her voice purred as I heard the door open, Sarah walking in to set down some food nearby. "I brought dinner~! Go easy on him Jean, this is meant to be a date night after all~" Sarah giggled out as she climbed onto the bed, sandwiching me between them both.

We ended up hanging out, enjoying a couple movies and eating the home cooked meal Sarah had brought in with her, snuggling together shortly after we finished eating. We spent most of the night relaxing, having fun until bedtime came. Jean suggesting they stay with me tonight, saying it was too far away and I was nice and warm. I found myself being cuddled as the blanket got pulled up over us, drifting off to sleep between them. I found myself in my safe room moments later, seeing my defenses standing around outside it. That's when a screen popped up in front of me. Congratulations! You have connected with enough people to get the next perk for your mental defenses! Please choose one of the following: Unending Defense, Mental Citadel, Absolute Connection.

Okay... interesting choices and at least this time I could actually see what they did. Unending Defense increased the number of waves, drawing on greater numbers and stronger defenses, it would also further unlock the defenses made available by other perks. So this seemed like a need at some point, since it unlocked more powerful waves and made the final waves significantly stronger.

Then there was Mental Citadel, it altered and vastly improved my minds functionality, not too mention the upgrade to my defenses themselves. Apparently it allowed me to set up traps, rooms, to make my mind into a literal citadel with false rooms, traps and danger hidden around every corner.

Finally Absolute Connection. It made the mental connections far more stable and easy to set up, it also made it nearly impossible to be broken, among other things. This... This could be VERY useful, I could get a head start on pushing back certain threats with this. I worried that I might not be seeing all the effects of the perk but for now?

It seemed like the best option currently would be Absolute Connection, so I selected it and felt it activating. I felt the connections to others getting not only more stable but stronger as well. I saw the machines from the 2nd wave running around, it looked like they were preparing things, possibly repairing damages or helping to ready my powers for when I was able to get hold of the next upgrade. Apparently having set my mind on Unending Defense for the next perk caused them to start making the preparations for it.

Returning to sleep shortly after that, I woke up to find myself being straddled by Jean, Sarah nuzzled into my neck as Jean looked down at me with a smile. "Morning Darling~" I heard from Jean moments before she leaned down and planted a kiss on my lips, she bad barely broken it before Sarah leaned in and caught my lips as well. I felt Jean's incredibly thick ass grinding back into my morning wood, as Sarah kissed me deeper. I swear Jean looked like she was about to remove the nightgown that barely kept her body hidden, the way she bit the bottom of her lip as she began to bounce a little atop me, the way she ground back on my morning wood further was starting to make it REALLY hard to hold back.

The knock on the door I thought would save me, but when Kali came walking in alongside Rayna, both of them wearing VERY little, Jean let out a little gasp as I throbbed against her ass, my length bulging out of my boxers to the point it slid out. "Mmm morning liebling~ Looks like you could use some relief~" Kali looked like she was about to jump into bed and join us, Rayna didn't look like she was gonna stop her either. "Hey there Cher~ You trying to hold back? Trying to save it for Rogue maybe~? I thought she'd said she didn't mind sharing you with us~?" WHY was the Cajun women pouting at me like that?! That was WAY too cute a look on her. It didn't help seeing Kali lick her lips as she stared right at my cock.

I had to convince them to let me up, convince them to save the fun for later, I didn't need to convince them for long when I suddenly felt a pull at my defenses. Jean saw my sudden wince of pain and was able to feel that someone's mind was under attack in the connection. They rushed away fast as they could thankfully, a minute or two later and we got messages, request for help. Kali teleported away, everyone jumping sideways as Jean tried to use the connection to gently find out more about what was going on. I was just getting myself dressed when a minute later she turned to me looking shocked, eyes wide and afraid for whoever was in trouble. "Zane? It's Rogue... She ran into Purple man while she was out with Storm."

I felt shock go through my system, he was able to mind control so many people, he was trying to take over Rogue? Storm must have been trying to stop him, that's when I felt him trying to attack her mind as well, my mental defenses moving to push back his power, to **** him out. "Wait! Can Kali get me over to them? They took the jet right?" I asked as Jean nodded. "I think she can, though there's no guarantee how long it'll take to get there, might be faster if you fly there alone just in case. Are you sure you can resist his mind control?" I looked at her for a moment before nodding my head, I felt something deep in my mental defenses, something that if he was actually strong enough to make it too would absolutely destroy him, it was a strange certainty.

I didn't bother with a mask or anything, just threw on whatever I could quickly and took off, flying as fast as I could while Jean used the connection to guide me in the direction of Rogue and Storm both. Rogue got back to the jet mostly safe, Storm though was being given orders as this asshole attempted to **** her to serve him. I didn't notice I was mixing the white energy around my body with purple, that I was speeding up to an incredible degree, a loud boom signaling my speed increasing further until I nearly overshot my destination. Spotting the jet I landed there and got close to Rogue, first I pushed my mental defenses harder, forcing his influence from her mind as I felt Storms connection get stronger, the defenses helping to push the control out of her slowly, so the distance did matter, less than before though thankfully. He was actively trying to control her, otherwise he'd already be **** out, it was a strange instinct to feel that was the answer.

I saw Rogue look at me with surprise, she was about to speak before she went into the Jet, coming out with some sort of special mask that she tried to give to me. "I don't need it, he CAN'T control me." We were on a roof, I went downstairs before she could stop me, putting the mask on herself as she followed. 2 floors down I saw him trying to push his power against the defenses protecting storms mind, I sent an energy palm at him that threw him through a nearby wall, Rogue grabbing Storm and taking her back up to the jet. "W-who the hell are you?! No matter, you'll help me get those two under control!" I felt him try to use his power on me, I don't know what came over me but...

I laughed at him, at first it was a chuckle, then it was full blown belly laughs, his attempt to take control of me might as well have been a tickle in my mind. Like it was barely even there... He tried getting closer, tried giving verbal commands that I would help him, I lured him in, he got closer. Then I put my fist in his gut with enough **** to lift him off the ground and hang him there a moment, he collapsed and was gasping. I heard him say something about how they were HIS to toy with, that they would SERVE him and do his bidding. The rational part of my mind told me he was trying to upset me, trying to **** me to make a mistake.

I felt anger, like a quiet fury I'd almost never known before, I didn't even realize what I was doing, I felt energy moving to my eyes, a mix of Red... And black. My eyes glowing and for a few moments he went wide eyed realizing that he couldn't control me, I took the shot, he ducked down expecting to dodge it, the beams suddenly turned sharply leaving jagged edges behind as they slammed him into the floor, through it and down to the 3rd floor of the building, we'd been on the 7th... He gasped as he got up, his body smoking as he coughed and tried to get up, he looked up in time to see my eyes glowing again, leaping to the side as I fired again. "Ha! He can't shoot me if I'm out of his sight!" Was clearly his thought process, shame he was wrong as the blasts turned in mid air, and began chasing him. He leaped out a window and grabbed onto the fire escape, trying to find a way to escape as he looked down, a moment later the window beneath where he was standing shattered out as the beams turned upwards, slamming into him and carrying him up all the way to the roof and then past it.

Meanwhile I'd gone back up to the roof, Rogue coming over. "Sugar! Are you alright? He didn't get control of you did he?" I shook my head before pointing over to the side of the building where the glass shattered, a moment later the Purple man was blasted up into the sky, further and further. "I had never once thought I could combine my powers like this, I would be tempted to thank him if I wasn't so overcome with this unyielding rage..." The look of worry on Rogue's face increased, I must have said that FAR too calmly for her liking. Finally the beams ran out and Purple man began to fall back down, yelling for someone to save him. I fired another blast, feeling my instincts guiding me again, he looked shocked at the two beams flying at him. Then I snapped my fingers and that shock turned to horror, as the two beams suddenly split into 20, swarming and slamming into his body from every direction, burning scars into his body as they continued to do all they could to harm him. His body landing onto the roof nearly 5 minutes later, smoking and barely moving as I got close enough to stomp an energy covered leg into his skull. I didn't care if he was knocked out, dead, crippled, it didn't matter anymore long as he wasn't a threat.

I stood there on that roof, never taking my eyes off his body for the next 10 minutes. Rogue coming over to explain that SHIELD had a containment team on the way, should be here any minute. I said that was great news, continued to wait there, watching him until the team arrived to carry him away. Somebody named Phil tried to speak to me, tried to ask what happened, Storm pulled him away gently and explained what she could. Rogue leading me back towards the jet. "Sugar? What was that? That was something completely different than those explosive beams you've shot in the past." I sighed as I finally felt myself calming down more. "I'm not sure, what's more concerning to me though is that with ALL that I just did, after having done almost NOTHING with that black energy before? I don't feel the slightest bit of strain from using it. Like I could have kept using it for literal DAYS had I wanted too." I explained, feeling almost as concerned as Rogue looked.

It took a little while before we could go, Phil asking a few questions about why I was able to fight him, the answer we gave was that I was immune to Kilgrave's powers. There were other questions but we all headed back not long after, arriving back just in time for me to head for the kitchen and grab lunch with Rogue. She explained to the professor what had happened and I got some concerned looks at first, everyone calmed down though once everything was explained though.

Kali hugged me from behind, trying to be supportive it felt like. I sent a message to Rogue asking how she'd feel about staying in today, just relaxing. I wasn't sure if I was asking out of concern for her or if she accepted out of concern for me, either way we ended up turning it into a little date. Just hanging out, relaxing and getting more back to normal. I asked if there was anything else she wanted to do or watch, barely finished asking before her lips were pressing against mine. "Oh Sugar... You literally came flying to help soon as you heard me and Storm were in trouble, looking mighty angry too. You ain't trying to protect me cause your worried I can't do it myself are you?" I shot that idea down fast as I could, explaining that all I could think of was what that asshole would have tried to do with her, how he would have manipulated her, it made me so angry it drew out a new combo I'd never used before. She asked if I'd be up for training with her, I said anytime and she said in the morning... before pulling her shirt up and tossing it into my face.

"Mind if we spend the night right here Sugar~?" She asked as she started undoing her shorts. "Whatever you want Marie~" I got a kiss for that, and then she gave me a smile that was mischievous as it was barely holding back lust.
