Ava, she wants to change up her wardrobe

Hannah is a young woman who is eager to keep up with fashion trends. Lately she's figured that her current closet is feeling a bit out of date, and she's been eager to change it up. Unfortunately, with her remote jobs cutting hours, she doesn't have the budget to change things up. Lounging in her living room, she takes her phone out to text her friend, Ava.

Hannah: "Ugh, I'm getting pretty sick of my current wardrobe, I wish I had a little extra cash to get at least -some- new stuff"

Ava: "You could always thrift?"

H: "I said NEW stuff, I'm not trying to go out in some musty old fit and still pay out the ass for it!"

Ava was sitting in her own apartment, about half the city away, rolling her eyes. Hannah has always been this way about clothes. It always had to be brand new or it wasn't worth wearing. Ava didn't mind secondhand stuff, she was confident in her style. She was even more confident, however, in her ability to trick her very snobbish friend. With a smile cracking across her face while she laid on the couch, she began typing.

A: "Well, you know those donation bins across the street from your place right?"

H: "Yeah those things you drop your old stuff in that they give to people with less taste lol"

A: "Well, sort of yeah. Butttt you know you get something out of it too right?"

H: "What do you mean?"

A: "The replacement clothes? Did you think they just take that stuff for free? Girl, they send you new stuff, you just have to leave a name and address in your bags so they know where to mail it."

H: "Really? That sounds really weird, wouldn't they lose money like, super fast?"

A: "Not at all, actually a ton of clothing places are in on it, they just put their extra stock toward it. There's so much fast fashion they'll even make you a new wardrobe bases on each season's trends!"

H: "That's so cool!! So I just have to put the clothes I want to give away in there? Way ahead of you hehe"

Hannah didn't need to hear more, she already sprung up and began piling her clothes into large trash bags. Dresser full of bras, underwear, shirts, shorts, dresses, and even her socks. She was so excited, charity with a bonus! Someone else could have this stuff, it was practically new anyway, but Hannah was falling over herself picturing all the new things she'd have to wear.

Dragging 3 massive bags outside of her apartment and across the street, Hannah decided to FaceTime Ava to show off her excitement.

"Ava! I'm doing it, I'm trading all of this in," she exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear.

"Hannah, wait, how much clothing do you seriously have? Is that all of it?"

Ava could not believe her eyes, her friend was outside and fully prepared to just donate all but the clothes on her back. She knew she was gullible, but she had absolutely no reason to think this would work.

"Yup!" Hannah said, setting her phone down while hoisting a bag on her shoulder. "Underwear too, figure a fresh start will be nice."

She very eagerly lifted all three bags up and into the large metal bin, each one rattling it with a thud as it hit the bottom.

"Hannah" Ava interrupted, "If you want a fresh start, what about the clothes you have on?"

Hannah gasped, she was right! With almost no hesitation, she lifted her t shirt over her head and threw it in, followed by her shorts, shoes, socks, and bra.

Finally she hooked her black panties with her thumbs, and slipped them off too. Standing completely naked on the sidewalk, she dropped her last piece of clothing in the bin, none the wiser of what she just signed up for. Hannah picked up her phone and flashed a peace sign at her friend, smiling as she skipped back toward her apartment.

Ava was nearly dying from laughter, this was going to go down in history as her magnum opus of pranks.

After a moment of shared delight between the two girls, Hannah finally broke the silence;

"So. When do they mail me my new clothes?"
