Author update

Hey, auther of this branch here. Thought I'd have a little chat with anyone still keeping an eye here.

First off thank you for having that much of an interest in my version of the Jason story to stick around despite the lack of updates. I genuinely feel bad when I see people in any of my unfinished stories wondering where I've gone, if I'll be back, etc. Because I do love writing this stuff and want to make the few fans I have happy.

Don't worry I'm not going anywhere, if that's what this sounds like. In fact its the opposite, I want to come back to this story and finish it off, or at least get it to a point that I'm satisfied with and other people can continue it from there if they wish. I haven't consecutively written in quite a while so I apologize if my writing quality has diminished.

But anyways, there was some other stuff I wanted to talk about. Like why the first chapters went up so fast and then slowed from there. Basically, I didn't originally start this Jason earring branch, as I assume you clearly know. That would be gm_dude with his seperate, right and left earring branches. Which are good by the way, you should read them if you haven't. I mean they are what brought me to start this branch because I was like, "If that were me, I'd just put both on and not worry about figuring out which earring was which." And I was interested in a sort of mixed branch of both of gm_dude's, taking elements and scenes from both. Essentially, I kind of copied what he did. Which is why the first chapters went up so fast. I tried to change things up and weave my own voice in there so that I wouldn't be straight up plagiarizing him. I think I did a good job of making this branch my own but if you disagree feel free to scold me in the comments.

I actually felt kind of bad on the chapter where Jason tries to tell Leah about the earrings. Someone commented like "A+ for that idea" or something along those lines. But I'm pretty sure that was something I copied from gm_dude. I'm too lazy to go check, so maybe I'm wrong and feeling bad over nothing. Hopefully I changed up the dialog and didn't literally copy paste. Shame on past me if I did >:(. Anyways, the rest of the story is headed into new territory so that shouldn't be a point of issue anymore. If it ever was an issue. I didn't intend for it to be in bad taste if anyone thought it was.

On another note (still related to gm_dude, I promise I don't mean it in a rude way I'm just curious if I'm crazy or not) but did he change the character descriptions for the first few chapters? When I was looking back through to remind myself I didn't remember some of the characters being described that way. I noticed he added a chapter with pics of the characters which definitely wasn't there before...right? So I'm guessing he updated their descriptions to match the images? It does kind of mean my descriptions don't fully match but it's not a big deal.

Talking about pics, that takes me into the next topic. So I've never really been a fan of images, I prefer just straight up descriptions, but with the raise of AI art I've seen some people using AI anime art in their stories and I actually don't mind it. So, was curious if people would be interested in me adding some to future chapters. I might not be able to perfectly match how I imagined the various girls looked but I'll get as close as possible. Or I can stick to no pics, that's fine too.

Oh, one last thing. I've seen some authors on here have been starting patreons. (In fact there is one guy I'm subbed to...or wait is it called pledged, whatever) The idea of maybe doing that has crossed my mind. The money might help insensitives me to write more. (It'd only be like a dollar a month, I'm not worth more than that) but also I'd feel bad if people sent me money only for me to write like 2 or 3 chapters and then stop like is par for the course with me. So yeah, unsure about that.

Apart from that, what other classes and or characters would you like to see. I make no promises I'll add any and every suggestion but I will certainly think about every one.
