Author’s Note

I was going to leave this one fallow for a while. I really was. Then as I said in a comment off the first chapter I got 600 views in six hours (and as of this writing I’m up another hundred). Regardless of whether people are liking or commenting (I don’t care about the likes… they’re cool and I appreciate them. I’d like to see some comments though), they’re defiant reading this monster I’ve created. And since I finished AliHart’s contract earlier The Professional (I’ve started thinking of him as Jack) has been banging around my skull. He wants me to tell this story.
