Author's note 2

Aaaand finished!

I usually talk about the writing process in my finishing author's note, but for the life of me I can't remember where I first got the idea of older man vs. younger pregnant girl. As for part 2, I've been exploring my sexuality of late, and I was curious to see if a(nother) (mostly) gay story would get my motor running. The answer: ehhh? I continue to be far more into femininity than masculinity, so it probably won't be a major theme in my future work, but it might occasionally pop up. We'll see.

(If you did enjoy part 2 of this story, you might like the above story too; it's basically the same experiment, except with some crossdressing thrown in, and viewed from the other end.)

What I do remember is that Samuel became a black man pretty much by accident. While I was writing the initial on-the-bus chapters, the idea just popped into my head and I ran with it. For the most part I've tried to avoid the usual (slightly tired) BBC cliches: he's just a man who happens to be black, not someone who is defined by his skin colour.

As for the future: I'm already working on my next story, and I hope to start publishing it within the next week. It'll once more be a very different story, with (for the first time for me) significant branching. I'll be relying (in part) on feedback from you, my dear readers, to give me inspiration about where to take it, so follow me to get a notification for my next story.
