Attack

As you are quietly watching the goblin who is looking around, you decide you want to attack him so that it does not see you or alert other goblins that you are here. You watch the goblin as it looks like it is starting to move, hoping that it turns away from you so that you can sneak up on him and attack him with the element of surprise. It takes a couple of steps towards where you are then slowly turns around and to the side and starts walking away from you but could still see you if you come out from behind the tree you are behind on this side, but if you go around to the other side you could not be seen.

You quietly move back behind the tree and slowly move around the tree to the other side. When you get there you can tell that it can not see you, so you crouch down with your sword out and ready. Taking your steps slowly and in the direction of the goblin, being quiet so that you make sure you do not give him a reason to turn around. When you get within striking distance you ready your sword and thrust it towards the goblin's neck, but right as the sword is about to hit right in the neck, the goblin starts to turn towards you and you hit it straight in the shoulder. As the sword hits the goblin's shoulder you see a little red number pop up and say -6, before disappearing. You think to yourself that is the damage that you have done with that hit, never knowing that you would see that when you fought an enemy.

With that you pull your sword back out of the goblin's shoulder, and get ready to strike again. Before you do though the goblin swings his club at you and hits you in your left arm, which thankfully is not the arm that is holding your sword. When the club hits you a red -3 pops showing that the goblin has done three damage to you. Raising your sword and swinging it down and hard on the goblin's neck for sure this time, -12 pops up as you slice through the neck of the goblin. As this happens you see as you **** your sword through the goblin that it is starting to glow before it dematerialize and you see a small chest appear on the ground where the goblin was.

Breathing a bit hard and still a bit of adrenaline pulsing through you as this was your first fight against anything. You bend down and open the little chest, and reach in and pull out a two copper coins and one bronze coin. Also in the chest is one minor healing potion. As you look in the little chest you see nothing else inside. After you empty the little chest it disappears and you see in blue 5 exp pop up then disappears.
