Attack of the Golems

Natsu decided to spar with 2B. She punched 2B.

"Ow" said Natsu.

"She's made of metal" said Mikula, "what did you expect?"

"Hey" said Katrina, "I could do with one of them swords. I feel useless with just my claws"

"I can generate these swords from my own body" said 2B, "so I could give you a spare"

"You do realise that in the game, 2B couldn't do that, right?"

"That doesn't prove anything. Of course, I am YORHA model 2B"

Suddenly there was an explosion. Kat, Natsu and 2B came running. Thomas was lying on the ground with Marcia laid on top of him. Thomas' face was slightly burned. Most of Marcia's clothes had been mostly burned off.

But it wasn't much fan service as most of her skin had been burned off with them.

"Marcia!" screamed Kat.

Marcia got up, her skin healing itself.

"That hurt" she said, "but Thomas is more danger of actually dying. The only one qualified to heal Thomas is Thomas"

Marcia shook Thomas by the shoulder. Thomas didn't react.

"He's still alive" Marcia said.

Marcia thought for a second.

"I could turn him into a vampire" she said.

Thomas woke up.

"No, don't" he said, "I'll be fine, Marcia took most of the damage. I can heal myself"

Thomas placed his hand on his body. Jude and Mikula entered the room.

"What the hell happened?" Mikula asked.

"There was an explosion" said Kat, "Marcia and Thomas were nearly killed. We need to find out what happened"

"This is obviously an explosion spell" said Jude.

Jude explained how an explosion spell worked. It was like a bomb but because it was magic, it didn't leave all the bomb bits you'd expect. This meant there was no way to tell who caused the explosion.

"Dammit" said Marcia, "if only I was stronger. I need to eat more ghosts"

Suddenly a golem appeared. It looked like a human woman but bigger.

The golem threw a punch at Kat. Natsu blocked the attack with a darkness barrier. Two more lady golems appeared. 2B positioned herself between Kat and co and the three golems.

"How do we take these girls?" asked Kat.

Towa rushed into the room to attack one of the golems from behind. The golem turned and swatted her away. 2B pulled a sword from her leg and threw it to Kat. Kat missed but she picked it up from the floor.

She decapitated one of the golems.

"I actually did it!"

"Er... Kat, golems are basically a type of automaton" said Thomas, "removing the head is not enough to kill them"

Sure enough, the headless golem continued to attack Kat. Fortunately, her head had landed it a position, facing away from Kat and its body, meaning it couldn't see the fight. Kat was able to take advantage of the golem's blindness to quickly slice off its arms and legs.

It wasn't dead but it couldn't do anything. 2B telekinetically used her swords to dismember the second golem. Natsu summoned shadow blades from the ground to do the same with the third golem.

"Alright" said Kat, "thats all of them"

Exiting the room, Kat, Natsu, 2B, Towa, Mikula, Jude, Marcia and Thomas were confronted by more golems in the hall. 2B gave Towa a sword to compensate for her lack of useful abilities in this situation. It was at this point the group discovered that Golems could form their hands into blades.

One of them slashed Mikula. It was obvious that Towa would need actual combat training. Kat had a similar problem but could at least get by with her catlike agility. The group kept dismembering golems. By this point, Marcia was completely naked, the remains of her clothes completely worn off.

However once they got to the stairs, that was when they realised there was a problem.

"Jesus Christ" said Kat, "there's like fifty of these things"

"Any ideas?" asked Towa.

Natsu summoned shadow arms from her body. These ended with claw like hands that she used to tear apart the beams on the ceiling, sending it collapsing on the golems. Outside the base, the group gathered.

"I got cut pretty bad" said Mikula, "could you heal me, Thomas?'

"Yeah, sure"

Thomas healed Mikula's cuts.

"Don't you think its a little weird that our hideout was located shortly after Mikula joined?" asked Marcia.

"I got cut up too" said Mikula.

"In ways you could have been healed from"

"Without Thomas? What if he was killed in the attack? It was him that was an the centre of the explosion"

"And how do you know that?"

"We all figured that out"

"Well, we don't know anything about you. For all we know, you could be working with another white mage"

"Marcia has a point" said Natsu.

"I agree with Natsu" said Kat.

"Its also possible that Mikula might have been the target" said Jude.

"In that case" said Marcia, "Mikula needs to tell us"

"I'm a mercenary" said Mikula, "there's a lot of people who want to kill me"

Natsu summoned blades of darkness.

"Lets fight this out" she said.

"Shouldn't we make sure Mikula is actually a spy before we kill her?" asked Kat.

"Its pointless arguing with Natsu when she gets like this" said Jude, "letting her fight it out is probably the best way to resolve this"

"Well, lets make some rules first. Natsu wins this fight, Mikula tells us everything"

"Fine" said Mikula, "lets do this"

Mikula readied her swords. She tried to strike Natsu but Natsu summoned a darkness shield to block her attack. However, Mikula's swords managed to crack through the shield.

"What?!" screamed Natsu.

Natsu rolled out the way of Mikula's attack. Mikula ran to Natsu, attempting to strike, but Natsu kicked her in the stomach. Natsu then fired a burst of darkness at Mikula. Mikula staggered about, unable to see anything.

Natsu got up and sent another darkness blast, sending Mikula flying. Natsu charged at Mikula, prepared to finish her off.

"You haven't seen my full power" said Mikula.

Mikula got up and summoned swords of light.

"Oh, shit" said Natsu.

Mikula fired the swords at Natsu. Natsu tried to block them with her darkness shield but the swords went directly through it. Natsu was **** down to her knees. Mikula walked up to Natsu and placed her blade to her throat.

"I win" she said, "the fact I haven't killed you should go someone the 'I'm a spy theory'"

Mikula walked off.
