It was not so much an act of fear, or necessity that Green-Aaralon made his decision, but mostly out of pure greed and lust. Within a quarter of a second, he had launched himself full speed at the other hound, and within seven more half seconds he made the pounce. Then, in two thirds of a second, his jaws closed on the ground. Blue had moved.

Aaralon-green, and the blue demon locked eyes for an instant, then began to circle, slowly about one another.
