At the Matou Mansion

A blue-haired boy cackles in the depths of a dimly lit green basement. Stairs ascend to the mansion proper, while the floor writhes as if living. "You've finally proved yourself useful to me, Sakura! You've summoned the strongest servant for me to win the Grail!" "Let's not get ahead of ourselves." A dry, raspy voice interjects. The boy silenced, his fear palpable. Sakura herself remained stoic. There's nothing left of her for Zouken Matou to take.

"It is true that Sakura was able to summon Saber for us. However there is the little matter of actually going out to win the Grail." Zouken paces along the worms, inching closer to Shinji. "You are very fortunate, Shinji. I have here a little present for you. Make good use of it." Zouken shoves an envelope into Shinji's quivering hands. "What is it, Grandfather?"

"You should know that nothing happens in this city without my knowledge. That is a list of all the servants and their masters." A pause. Shinji is about to speak when Zouken continues, "Don't take my generosity for granted, Shinji." Shinji nods, "Of course! I'll win the Grail and make the Matou family great again! Just you see!"

Zouken hrmphs and walks up the stairs. "Oh, and Shinji? Don't return here without the Grail or I'll throw you to the worms myself. Heh, heh, heh." Shinji gulps as Zouken leaves the scene. Shinji looks at the servant Sakura summoned.

The Saber that Sakura's summoned has blonde hair, gold eyes, and is clad in pitch black armor with red streaks that look like blood. She's quite frightening to look at. "You hear that, Saber?" Shinji points a finger at Saber accusingly, "You'd better win." Saber lets out a growl and ignors Shinji, looking directly at her true Master, just behind him. Shinji storms off upstairs, leaving only Sakura and Saber.

"Please, Saber. Do what my brother asks and help him win the Grail. And I'm sorry my grandfather **** this blackness upon you. Please remember who you truly are." Saber silently nods once and disappears into astral form, leaving nothing but Sakura and the writhing worm pit.
