At the Church of Shelyn

It was another beautiful day inside the Church of Sheyln and Brandy was carrying out her tasks for the day. Today it was her turn to care for and supervise the children in the orphanage.

“Now children, today we are going to practice our singing skills.”

The reaction of the children was mixed. Some of them were excited, or at least didn’t complain. But some of them did. “But I don’t like signing.”, “I’m not any good at signing.” “can’t we do something else?”

“Now children, our lady Shelyn is the goddess of music, so when we sing, we are praying to the goddess. Besides, Shelyn doesn’t care if you are a good singer or not, she appreciates that you tried.” She claps her hands enthusiastically while giving them a big smile. “Now form up children.” Some of the children continue to complain and mumble underneath their breath. But soon the children group up and start signing. It isn’t the best, but they are children and they can only get better with practice.

Besides, it is a wonderful day outside.

But then it started to rain. “Looks like it’s starting to rain. Children, get inside, everyone to the main hall.” The children quickly break ranks as they start to move to the dining hall. Seeing the weather is quickly getting worse Brandy tells them. “Hurry now.”

It doesn’t take you long to guide the children inside. Just in time to, because the rain quickly turns intoo a downpour. The children are obviously disappointed since they can’t play outside. But Brandy does her best to put on a smile. “Now children, I’m sure the rain will let up soon. Why don’t we form back up and get back to practice?”
