At least get a bite to eat

"Well this is a quaint little town, isn't it?" Siora ponders aloud as you wander down the main street, past several small shops whose proprietors are selling and/or repairing various farm and household equipment. You nod in agreement while looking all around.

"Hey, look," you point out to Siora when you are most of the way through the small village. At the next corner is a small, mostly empty tavern with a woman cleaning tables out front. "I think a proper meal would do us some good," you suggest.

"Oh that sounds wonderful," Siora agrees, taking your hand and pulling you over to the tavern. "Can we take one of these tables?" she asks the tavern girl while pointing at one of the tables out front of the building.

The tavern girl smiles and nods as you take chairs opposite each other at the small table out front. "I'll get some grub for you two, it'll just be a few minutes," she hollers over to you as she disappears inside. As you wait you both enjoy just having the weight off your feet, stretching your arms and legs. There isn't much going on in this little village, with your arrival at the tavern the most noteworthy event to happen right now.

You don't have to wait long for your food. The tavern girl comes back with a bowl of stew and a glass of water for each of you only about a minute later. You both barely even thank her before digging in right away. Although the stew is pretty plain, it's been over a day since you've had a proper meal. You and Siora seem to be in a race to see who can get to the bottom of the bowl first, and you both immediately request a second bowl after both are emptied.

Your second bowl is soon emptied as well. By the time you look back up to Siora she is simply waiting for you to finish. "That was delicious!" you exclaim to her.

"Yes, it's so satisfying to finally have a full meal," Siora replies. She stretches and finally takes in all the scenery, with her eyes going wide as she looks at something next to the front door of the tavern. She looks back to you with worry in her eyes as she points to it. "Oh no," she whispers. "What do we do about that?"

You look over to the sign and are immediately worried. Scribbled on it is a simple "Hot meals: 1 Silver piece". Needless to say, neither you nor Siora have anything on you besides the clothes you're wearing. The two of you are going to have to quickly come up with some way out of this...
