At first

As Ruby sat in her cage she found herself lost in thought over her situation. There were only two possibilities to Ruby's current predicament. One possibility was that someone had gone to great lengths to not only arrange her placement in the cage but to discredit her to prevent any chance of her rescue. The other possibility was that the stress had finally gotten to Ruby and a part of her mind had agreed to this without her knowing.

Before Ruby could figure out which of those choices it was she heard a loud voice coming from outside the cage.

"Are you done yet?" Angie said as she yelled at Ruby.

"I can't hold this thing all bloody day. Is it your signature or not? Angie asked as her arms began to shake.

Ruby had been so lost in her thoughts that she had almost forgotten about Angie standing outside of her cage. As much as Ruby hated Angie in this moment she had to admit that in this moment she was thankful for the woman she once sought as an ally. For once she had heard Angie's voice yelling at her Ruby quickly found herself snapped back to reality.

In the end, Ruby realized it didn't matter if it was her signature on the documents or not. What did matter was finding a way out of this predicament to that end Ruby realized if she was listed as a pet then there must be an owner listed on the document as well. If Ruby could figure out who her owner was to be then maybe she could use that information to help her in some way.

"I just need a few more moments," Ruby said thinking quickly. She couldn't risk Angie getting suspicious of her actions as she needed to act Quickly. She would only have a few moments to find out the name of her would-be owner before Angie would take the device away from her.

"I've got to make the signature bigger," Ruby said speaking to Angie as she began to touch the screen of the device. Ruby knew it was risky to lie to Angie but she needed to know the name of her soon to be owner.
