Calen wanders the forest, in hopes of finding some supplies or even just answers...
At Least There's Water
Stepping into the undergrowth found her splashing one bare foot down into a pool of water. There's plenty to drink, as the pool stretched several feet in front of her. She could probably bathe if she wanted but then she'd have to drink that so...
Stepping away from the watering hole did little to soothe her; there was nothing of real consequence around the water. The forest, for as full and noisy as it was, seemed desolate, empty.
Still, there was the huge pool of water behind her...
Something glimmered at the bottom.
There were two rupees in her drink...
