Assign Role: Maid

Succumbing to her own curiosity, Ash decided that she would experiment with the remote some more and aimed it at Serena again. Once more taking a look at the various categories and buttons, she quickly gravitated towards the symbol-labeled buttons of the "Assign-Role-Category". Not yet knowing what any of them did, she ended up pressing one labeled with a symbol that resembled a maid cap.

Immediately, the results of the change she had performed became apparent as Serena's outfit had changed completely. She now wore a black dress with a white, frilly skirt hem and short, puffy sleeves under a white apron that was tied on her back with a large bow. Her hands and lower arms were covered in white silk gloves while on her legs, she now wore black thigh-high socks with a frilly white hem at the top. In place of her old shoes, she now stood in a pair of black two inch heels while her hat had been replaced with a black maid cap with white frills. Indeed, she was now fully dressed in a very appealing maid outfit.

As Ash put the remote back into her bag and prepared to see what else the change might have caused, she noticed how Serena suddenly stopped in her tracks, turned around with a look of great concern on her face and went to stand right in front of her. Fearing that this time she might have been aware of the change and was confused as to what had happened, Ash was surprised when Serena started to bow instead.

"Please forgive me, Mistress," she said with her head low. "It was unbefitting of my position to be walking in front of you."

Astounded by how Serena was acting, Ash attempted to calm down the worried girl. "It's alright Serena, I'm not mad. I know you didn't mean to be rude, so lift your head."

A relieved smile appearing on her face, Serena slowly returned to standing straight with her hands folded in front of her lap. "Thank you, Mistress. You're too generous with me." She then moved to stand at Ash's side, though about one step behind. "I believe we should reach the Pokémon-Center shortly. Considering the time of day, I will start preparing dinner for you once we arrive."

"Oh, uh, thank you, Serena." Ash replied, still a little unsure as to how to treat this new reality.

As they once again continued on their way towards the Pokémon-Center, Serena continuously maintained the same distance from Ash, respectfully folowing after her mistress. Ash, on the other hand, went over what had just happened in her head. She had just turned her friend into her maid who, most likely, would dutifully follow her every order. Thinking this over, she realized that she actually didn't necessarily dislike this status, at least for a time. With the possibility to return her to normal currently sitting in her bag, she was free to either do so right now, or just keep her as her maid for now and maybe even experiment some more.
