Assemble the massage chair!

BANG! Cardboard box? Deployed and opened. Contents? Strewn about floor. Tools? At the ready and also strewn about floor. It's go time!

There's a paper instruction booklet, and the tools are the mini bare metal ones included in the small plastic baggies. The actual chair part of the massage chair, the soft bit you sit in with all of the electronics, comes premade. You've just gotta attach the legs and the retractable footrest. Then plug it in, and you're ready to go!

The instructions are a little hard to understand, but the pictures are nice. You wanted Cameron to help you, but he said that he wasn't any good at it either. Plus, he's listening to music. Eventually, though, after sighing very loudly several times while near him and yanking out one of his earphones by the wire, he agreed to hold the big premade chair part in place on its side. Now, thanks to your buff roommate, you can access the bottom better and he can still listen to his music. Yayy! You wonder what kind of music it is?{if Cameron's Impression >75} You know him pretty well now, so you feel confident in your guess that it's Time Again by Odd Chap on permanent loop.{elseif Cameron's Impression <40} He seems like a "Where The Fuck's The Vengabus" kinda guy.{endif}

Okay, attaching the retractable footrest is actually pretty easy. You just need to slide it along some little bars that are already there on the side, and you're halfway done with the chair! But the legs are a bit harder. First of all, there's these soft pads that are sticky on one side that you think you're supposed to put on the underside. But they're really hard to peel off, and you kind of want to keep one but there aren't enough for that, and when you put them on they're never in the centre of the leg and that doesn't look nice so you take it off and put it on again but it's less sticky next time so you have to have Cameron put the chair down on top of them and sit on it to apply enough **** to stick it in place properly. It's a whole ordeal!

After that's finally done, and you've worked up a substantial sweat, you still need to actually attach the legs with screws. Geez, this is complicated. How's anybody supposed to work this stuff out? You use the screwdriver and try to tighten them as much as you can, but even when you push your whole body into it the screws don't budge.

"Cameron!" You wail. "Heeeelllllpp!!"

Without a word, Cameron slowly sets the chair down to lean on the ground and comes around to your side. With a sniff, you hand him the screwdriver and screws. You point at the spot they're supposed to go in with one hand as you wipe your eye with the other, and he leans in to- oh, hey, what? They're going in super easy now!

"What! They're going in super easy now!" You declare. You were definitely doing it right! It's righty less mighty, lefty more hefty, isn't it?

Well, once one leg's in, Cameron hands you back the screwdriver, looking a bit confused. You thank him quickly and order him back to his spot holding the chair up across from you. Once there, you try turning the screws in the other way, and it works perfectly. What the heck! Who made that saying, then?

Anyway, very quickly after that you've put all the legs in and the chair is complete! You help Cameron lift it to a proper standing position in the corner of the room, and plug it in, ready to give it a try. But when you do, you want a full, dedicated time slot! Not just a mini test.

Yeah, it does, doesn't it? {endif}It's weird that they packaged it with all of those other parts that you didn't even need to use, but you can just drop them off to the bins and be done with it. Your chair is completed, and awesome! This is gonna be mad good when you use it.
