You turn to face Xara and smile, despite your headache "Where you been?"

Xara looks at you and sighs "Does it matter? Besides, I already told you."

You squint suspiciously at them "I mean, that's fair we've only been friends for four years, that's cool!" You lie back on your bed and stare at the ceiling

You hear Xara sigh and smile smugly "I- I went and spoke to Father Lin again..."

You sit up "That creep?"

"He's a good man!" They say defensively "I got kind of stuck there, when um- When his son invited me over for dinner."

"Ah, so does the proverbial apple fall far from the tree?" You ask them, but they just look at you, confused "Is the son just as creepy?"

"I shan't speak ill of him..." The look on Xara'a face tells you it all.

"Oh my God!" You stand up and smack yourself in the head "Oh my God, he's your boyfriend isn't he?!"

Xara blushes and stands suddenly "He's to be my- My betrothed..."
