Ask the guards

You enter the structure, a guard works with a pile of half-filled reports at a wooden desk in the corner, his quill scratching lazily against the parchment. He looks at you, and you notice that he's bored, then he returns to his paperwork.

"Another adventurer, huh?" he says

You explain about your quest and the stone, but he's not listening.

He says...
"If you want a job, ask the brothel, and if you want something from us, come another day, in a week or two..."

You can't wait, your quest is urgent, and this lazy guard is an obstacle...
You can bribe him with some gold coins to attract his attention, or you can charm him using your magic.
