Ask about the Sunriders

"Sooo..." you begin "I've always been curious about the Sunriders."

Lexie's eyes perk up

"I mean, I know Sunriders are warriors...but...care to tell me a little about them?" you question

"Sure, I'd love to!" her voice so happy go lucky "So, I think you've noticed here at the Syndicate that a lot of the men are...well a bit more different then many others. You see, they are generally a little shorter in height, but their lack of height is made up for in their upper body. Whether it's from all the hard labor many of them have done growing up or just because for many generations the men always wanted to wield bigger and bigger weapons and thus required more and more strength." she takes a breath "So, many of these men can't ride any type of stead or mount into combat and hence most of the male warriors just stand and march."

"I was curious about that...especially since I noticed a ton of the men here are rather...bulky." you put nicely

"So, since most of the men couldn't use steeds, we started to have a pretty big surplus of 4 legged animals. This caused many female warriors to beg to go to war and ride on the mounts. At first, the Syndicate didn't allow it, but after much of the female population begged and pleaded, they eventually succumbed to their wishes and let us use mounts." She takes a bite out of her chicken leg "But the interesting part is, Males can't be Sunriders, but Females can be normal warriors. I think it comes to Sunriders are a fast, agile attack **** where as the main bulk of the army is that slower, steady wall of ****." Lexie brings her hand up, running it through her hair briefly "To be honest, more people fear the Sunriders and that's mainly because the Syndicate uses the Sunriders as the first response. We go in, scout, kill what we can, all the while our main army marches forward. We do the sneak attacks. We attack the outer castles and towers. We pick off the farmers and harvesters. Slowly picking away at the outsides, causing fear, starvation and panic in the major cities."

"And...those tigers?" you question

"Ahhh, the Sabre-Tooths!" she grins "Some Sunriders are lucky enough to be trained to ride those beasts. It takes quite a lot of strength to be able to control and tame them, but generally once you tame them, you're paired for life."

"So how did you get one?" you joke

"Ass" she shakes her head "To be honest, my mother was a Sunrider before me. She died in war not too long ago and I basically inherited hers." She smiles at you "It took awhile for me to tame her, but she eventually came around."

"When I first saw that beast, tan light fur, foot long tusks, light green eyes, it's warm breath, it's power from it's roar." you gulp, it's memory still in your head "I was basically scared shit-less"

"hahaha, I could tell!" her cheeks getting higher and higher as she smiles heavier "You think mine is scary...just wait til you see our leaders."

"Hmm?" you question

"An Albino Sabre-Tooth. One of a kind. Suppose to live longer than 10 human lives. White fur, around the same sized teeth, but extremely terrifying dark red eyes." Lexie shivers "A little bigger too. Mine is only about 9 feet long and 3 feet tall, hers probably closer to 11 or 12 feet long. It can run so damn fast."

"Amazing..." you can only mumble out.

"So...I think I explained it well enough, anything else you care to ask?
