Ask Nemo to teach me

"Well, then, Nemo, would you teach me?" I ask.

"I've been waiting for this moment! You just leave it to me, Caleb!" Nemo says.

"Nemo. You'd better not fool around. Take this seriously. His safety depends on it." Lupin says.

"Yeah, yeah. What should we train for today? Dating tips? How to utter whispers of love? Or perhaps something more stimulating?" Nemo asks.

"It seems the time has finally come for me to blow your head off. I'll make sure you don't feel a thing." Van Helsing says.

"Stop pointing that gun at me! I'm only kidding!" Nemo says.

"Hmph." Van Helsing says.

"I'd prefer something that would help me fight or escape, Nemo." I say.

"I see. Well, if that's what the gentleman wants, that's what the gentleman gets. Miss Nemo must oblige!" Nemo says.

"Weren't you teaching him how to operate machines?" Doreen asks.

"Yep. He's pretty much mastered driving automobiles." Nemo says.

"Wow! You can drive an automobile? That's great." Victoria says.

"Yes, it was a lot of hard work." I say.

"All right! There's something else I haven't had you ride on yet, but maybe I'll finally break it out since you've asked." Nemo says.

"What is it?" I ask.

"You'll have to wait and see!" Nemo says.

"Oh, that thing? I won't stop you from flying it, but do be careful not to crash." Doreen says.

"Oh, come on, Doreen-G! It's my pride and joy! There's no way we'll crash!" Nemo says.

"Uh... I've seen you crash it, more than once." Victoria says.

"As have I. There was a huge explosion." Van Helsing says.

"Funny you say you'd never crash, after you almost turned the mansion into a field of flames." Lupin says.

"Nemo. Explosion? Flames?" I ask.

What could they be talking about?
