You: Karlee do you have a male friend you trust?

Karlee. Actually yes. Toby has been my best friend since we were kids. He's just the sweetest thing. Why do you ask?

You: Well doesn't make sense to get the opinion of someone you trust before sending the picture.

Karlee: Counselor you're a genius! Why didn't I think of that. Toby would be the perfect guy to ask. Plus I can trust him not to be pervy or weird.

Your thoughts: Looks like this Toby guy is going to owe me big time. And Karlee is so naive she probably doesn't realize she is giving Toby an opportunity he's probably been waiting for years for.

You: I'm glad the solution seems to work for you. So why don't you go tell Toby about your idea and you can tell me all about it at the next session.

Karla: Will do. Thank you so much sir.

(She leaves the room with a skip in her step, clearly excited to tell toby the plan. It'll be interesting to see what Toby does with the opportunity. But that's for another day. For now you have to focus on the last client of the day.)
