Ashley

As the door opens, I can see it is Ashley. I groan on the inside knowing that Brad’s girlfriend doesn’t like me for whatever reason. Ashley has been cold towards me even though I’ve tried to be a good friend to her. It seems the more I try the colder she becomes. When the door is fully open then I see the look on Ashley’s face. She clearly was hoping that I didn’t come to the party.

Ashley: “Hey, Christy. Can I help you with something?”
Me: “I just came for the graduation party, though it seems I’m early. Who else is here?”
Ashley: “Brad is busy, but Lilly isn’t doing anything in her room. Maybe, you should spend some time with her before the party. The others should be here soon and I need to freshen up before the party.”

Again, it feels like Ashley doesn’t like me for some reason and I’m not sure what I can do to change that or even if I want to be her friend anymore. Though before I can answer, Ashley walks off down the hall and leaves me standing at the door. So, I come in and close the door behind me. Now that I’m inside, I can see a light from Lilly’s room as well as Ashley going into the restroom down the hall. Also, I see that the basement door is open and it sounds as if someone is down there. Lilly likely is listening to music in her room and joining her could be fun. Then again the person in the basement is likely Brad and I could spend some time with him before the party. I’m also tempted to head after Ashley and see what she is up to in the restroom. I wonder how much she has to do to look the way she does. Maybe I can even pull a prank on her and get her back for the way she acted towards me when she came to the door. I have so many options to choice from. Of course I could just look around the house and see what I can find.
