"Ashley," Ethan answers.

A look of surprise breaks Sam's expression. "Ashley? Ashley Quintero?"

"Yeah..." Ethan isn't sure why she's so surprised.

"Huh," Sam tilts her head, giving Ethan a quizzical look. "You two are friends? I always thought you were close with Charlotte and not her."

Hearing Charlie's full first name sounds weird to Ethan. "Well I'm friends with both of them..." Ethan decides to leave out the fact he's been fucking Ashley.

"Hm." Sam leans back in her chair, Ethan having her full attention. "Being friends with both Quintero sisters is no easy feat."

Ethan shrugs. "I mean... It's not that hard."

Sam gives Ethan a smirk, one that makes Ethan's heart skip a beat. Something about it is just... Enthralling. The smirk is gone as quickly as it came, Sam back to business. "Well... I do have something you can help me with..." She reaches towards her pad of paper, flipping back a few pages. "Are you free tomorrow?"

"I am..." He's honestly always free. "What's the job?"

Sam takes a breath. "I... need assistance in a... delicate matter..." Ethan raises his brow, trying for more information. "It's easy work. Should only take us a couple of hours. I could pay you..." she thinks for a moment. "Flat forty."

Ethan thinks about it. If it only takes a couple hours, forty isn't bad. He briefly considers haggling, but...

"Deal." Ethan reaches across the desk, offering his hand.

Sam takes his hand and Ethan notes it's quite... dainty.

Releasing the shake, Sam smiles "Tomorrow. If you don't show up." She shrugs. "Deals off."

"Right." Ethan nods.

"So," her smile fades, but not completely. "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

"Nope, that's all."

"Alright then. Then please close the door on your way out. See you tomorrow."

Smiling, Ethan shows himself out.
