Ashley steps in before Emily could answer

Emily was just about to explain her nudity to the customer when Ashley came up from behind.

"Hello miss, I'm the manager here, I hope you found everything satisfactory?" Ashley gave her rehearsed line. Emily wanted to tell Ashley off, but figured that wouldn't be a good idea in front of a customer. She just stood quietly to the side while Ashley took over the conversation.

"Well, yes, the wash was fine. But what I'm really wondering is why you have one of your employees running around in the buff! Seriously, I've never seen such a thing!"

"Oh, that?" said Ashley, though Emily knew that Ashley was well aware that this was the issue.
