Ashe

Today was a bit of a special day for Ashe as he helped the rest of the Blue Lions set up then necessary decorations within the classroom. It wasn't just them: The Black Eagles had brought forth an entire variety of elegant display that matched their own, and was competing on their own behalf of whose classroom looked better. The Golden Deer were doing something similar, but considering how Lysithea had come over in an attempt to sample some of the cupcakes baked, they had their own agenda. Knowing Claude, he was sure that whatever Golden Deer was doing would also be something to behold, though perhaps differently. He wasn't exactly sure what was the portion of Claude being serious or when he was feeling mischievous. Either way, the possibility of his empty threats of poisoning to eliminate competition coming to life really worried him.

"Maybe I should stick to these..." Glancing at the pastries laid out before him, the icing having yet to harden, he wondered how much effort Annette and Mercedes had spent on these. Three hours ago, they were nothing but flour, eggs, and sugar, but now, they looked like pumpkins filled with icing ready to burst out of the seams. Perhaps they added too much, but there was a bit of a surplus of sugar as the Ashen Wolves brought forth from the Abyss an entire supply just for the sake of good will.

"They were going to gather dust down there anyways. Might as well put them to good use, so long as there's something else to fill the space." Yuri had stated, and it was nice to see the rift between the two groups closing with the upcoming festivities. People were still people, and it would often bring forth a reasonable amount of good will.

His stomach rumbled as they had been preparing for an entire day and yet... It just didn't seem to end. Not much to his surprise, he was noticing some of his house slacking off: Sylvain was talking to Dorothea, who seemed to be mildly annoyed by his advances today, and the tome behind her signified there'd be risk of fire if he did step over the line. Annette had gone over to chase after Lysithea who finally managed to filch an entire bag of leftover icing, and Mercedes had gone after the two.

Honestly, it was tempting to try take one of the cupcakes now that it was unsupervised, but... There was also the cafeteria where he could get a bite to eat while others were pre-occupied.
