Ash, in Dawn's life and body, sat on her bed and was talking to Dawn, now her twin sister Ashley, wondering what she should do now. She could just swap back lives with her and live as Ashley, but staying as Dawn seemed more interesting to her. Also, she had already challenged all the Kanto Gyms in her original life, so it might be interesting to watch her new twin sister do so instead. In the end, Ash decided to keep living Dawn's life and support her sister while she took on the Gyms of the Kanto Region.

"So, where are we going to head first, sis?" Dawn asked, pulling Ash out of her thoughts.

"I believe the gym closest to Pallet Town is in Viridian City," Ash told her sister.

"Then that's where we're going to head tomorrow," Dawn exclaimed. "I can't wait to challenge my first Kanto Gym!"

"Alright, sounds like a plan," Ash agreed.

With that, the two sisters got ready to go to bed so they could get a head start on their way to Viridian City. Still, Ash thought about whether she should test out one more button before she went to sleep. She wanted to know what the other buttons did, but she could also just leave things as they are for now and experiment some other time.
