As expected

Eventually, through the windows, Cat saw J. Jonah Jameson step out of the elevator, talking to some other people who followed him out. She could see his eye-line look past his office, and subsequently Spider-Man, as he turned to speak with the person on the other side of him. Suddenly, she saw Jameson do a double take as he swung his head back around, looking at the figure sitting at his desk. She could see the look of shock on his face as he said something.

"SPIDER-MAN!" She could hear Jameson scream, even from across the road, as his face changed to that of pure anger. He turned to one of the people beside him and said something before she saw him march quickly past the windows as he made his way to his office. She saw the person Jameson had spoken to pull out his mobile and start calling someone, probably the police if she had to guess. Jameson burst into his office, his face tomato red, as he pointed accusatorily at Spider-Man, "WHAT ARE YOU-"

Jameson was cut off as Spider-Man leapt over the desk and took Jameson's pointed finger shaking it. She couldn't tell what Spider-Man was saying, but he seemed animated, and it caught Jameson off guard. Jameson just stood there, frozen, and dumbfounded. Then Spider-Man raised the newspaper he'd grabbed ealier and Cat could see, scrawled over some article under a photo of Spider-Man, a signature – Spider-Man's signature – before he placed the paper in Jameson's still outstretched hand, before turning to leave. Jameson looked down at the paper and blinked, before shaking his head and staring back at Spider-Man, fury in his eyes once more, as he chased him to the window.

"WHAT IS THIS? SOME TRICK?" She could hear Jameson shout, as he shook the newspaper at Spider-Man as he swung away, down the street, "YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!"

Cat started getting to her feet, as she watched Jameson open his office door.

"WHERE ARE THOSE OFFICERS! THAT WAS BREAKING AND ENTERING AND I WANT HIM CAUGHT!" Jameson shouted. Then, she heard the faint sounds. That was her cue to leave. She finished getting up and ran along the roofs, following the direction Spider-Man had swung away in.

It didn't take long before she saw him, walking along the rooftops back towards her.

"How was it?" He asked as they got closer.

"Well, he called the cops on you, so we should keep moving." Cat replied, as she continued to hurry along the rooftops, away from the Daily Bugle. Spider-Man fell into step beside her.

"Yeah, but did you catch any of it?" He asked.

"I could hear everything Jameson was shouting. You really pissed him off with that stunt. But, I need to know, what did you say to him that made him freeze in bewilderment?"

"I just said it was great to finally meet my biggest fan, and that, as a gift, I signed one of his newspapers, just for him. I think my friendliness short-circuited his brain for a sec."

"So, you had fun then?"

"I think that was the most fun I've had in a while. Wish I could've captured the look on his face though."

"That was pretty funny." Cat laughed, before she gave Spider-Man a playful punch and slowed down, "See? Isn't this much better?"

"Yes, you were right." Spider-Man admitted. They could hear sirens getting louder. Seems like the police actually might've been chasing them.

"Here." Cat stated as she jumped onto a fire escape in a nearby alleyway. Spider-Man dropped down beside her and pressed his body against hers as they both watched the police cars speed past the mouth of the alley. The two then laughed as they looked back at each other. Slowly, their laughter stopped as they stared into each other's eyes.
