Arriving at Whitefall

The rest of the night passed uneventfully, Heinkel relieved the sisters keeping watch. After a brief breakfast at dawn the party break camp and continue moving toward their first destination. As the drew closer to the city of Whitefall, the road became more crowded. The wild countryside became tidy farms and fields. Farmers, peddlers, patrols of soldiers, and other travelers congested the way. It was midday by the time Heinkel led his horse through the city gate. The two battle sisters with him attracted curious stares from passerby.

"We traveled frequently enough, I wonder why the stares," Kate pondered out loud as they shuffle their way through the crowded street.

"I have some business in the city, Kate, Arianne, you two get us a room at the Wooden Horn Inn," Heinkel suggested, "take the time to rest and perhaps gather some information the our fellow travelers and adventurers staying there."

"Understood," Arianne answered after they received instruction to the inn from Heinkel. He let Kate took the rein of his horse as well, from here on it would be easier for him to move around on foot. The party then parted at a cross road. Heikel looked on, his eyes following them until they are lost into the crowd.

Now he must decide who to visit first. The adventurous daughter of the city's governor that he met in one of his quest, Lina. Despite her status, she is a true adventurer, having no hesitation trekking into forbidden woods or long lost ruins. Being the governor's daughter means she has the resources to have the information that Heinkel might need.

On the other hand, in the more rough part of the city where one might find an adventurer, or a treasure hunter, he can likely find his old friend Beatrice, likely busy taking a poor soul's coins in a game of dice. Being a bounty hunter, her connections would have something that will be helpful as well.
