Arriving at Pikanally
It was as huge as Sven remembered it, the great rebellious city of Pikanally - a city not owned by a race but by a culture, a mixing pot of peoples living in relative harmony among one another. As such it was outside the typical racial factions jurisdiction and was named the 'rebellious city' for its disobedience to these cultural norms of sticking to ones ethnic group. In the game it was a guild hub for lower level factions, and a stepping stone to some early game bossing locations.
"Wow, this city is amazing! Lets go explore master!" Ignis pulled on Sven's bandit tunic excitedly as she herded him towards the city gates.
"The great city of Pikanally, how I've missed my home!" Goram took a deep breath in and then exhaled it all out contently, the beastmen he had been leading here didn't look too comfortable to be here but that was because they were all indentured servants. Pikanally is a city that is openly against slavery, but there was some loop holes to the system that crafty black market types can **** to get around this law. In these beastmen's cases, they had been sold by their families to be taught by the guild and then utilized for their business model until they reached the age of 30, where they can be let free to live their own life with complete agency.
By that time the guild would have made their profit margin from training and then using the students, the problem with this is where exactly the line resides for what counts as a bill of sale for indentured servitude and what pushes the envelope to it being pure and simple slavery.
All of this had been explained to him by Alice, who had taken more than a little interest to the white haired human escorting her valiantly to PikanVale. He was still unsure how to act around her, she was always touching him or sending him interesting looks and he could tell this bothered Ignis, who would shoot something a little than an 'interesting look' directed at the cat woman.
Hailing the guards, Goram and his party was accepted into the city without any trouble, the city was cobblestone lined with a raised walkway, something similar to a medieval Europe cityscape. Oil lanterns were beginning to be lit by the patrolling guards as day was soon turning to night, flavors and scents of foods and wax candles filled the air as the settling city was still teeming with activity. Every store there was something different or unique, toy makers were entertaining children on one side of the road, then on the other men were lined up in a row as they received their haircuts out in the street.
Merchants and beggars peddled and sought their coins, men were being arrested outside of a poorly lit pub - some of the men were too drunk to stand and so were hauled away on the back of a carriage. It was like travelling back in time and seeing a 16th century England - but with Elves, Orcs and animal humanoids mixing with homo sapiens like it was the most natural state of affairs imaginable. It shouldn't have come as such a shock to Sven since he had experienced this time and time again when this world was just a game to him, but now that he finally experienced it in person it hit him differently than he had expected.
"Not like those other cities is it?" Ignis asked, she could tell Sven's head was spinning a little at all this new information to take in.
"Not like any city I've ever known." A half truth, it seemed different experiencing it in person and he just couldn't get over it. It was amazing that all this was possible, that he had been reborn in this world and that he would find himself here, a place he'd been to countless times for quests or bosses and to experience it so differently this time round.
A pickpocket ran down the cobbled streets clutching at a coin purse he'd snagged from some lady or another, as he ran the guards were hot on his heels blowing whistles to alert other patrol units nearby. Soon enough the guy was tackled to the ground, causing Alice to giggle.
"Pikan is an interesting town is it not?" Alice practically skipped as she walked arm in arm with Sven.
"You've been here before?" Sven inquired.
"Only a couple of times, one time I was nearly **** and the other time I had my shopping stolen from me by some dog nosed fart sniffer." One of the dogfolk that was accompanying Goram growled quietly at the insult but Alice ignored him.
"I'm sorry to hear that, I'm glad the guards stepped in to help you." Sven tried to comfort her, she just cracked an amused smirk.
"What guards? I beat that piece of shit with a loose brick until his brains coated my blouse~" She managed to say that last part in a sing song voice, Sven laughed nervously. 'This girl is trouble' Sven thought to himself.
"Most men that want me can't have me." She laughed. "But you could, if you wanted to~" Sven gulped as he felt a delicate hand squeeze his package, as she touched it her eyes lit up. "You've got such a big one too! Where have you been all my life?~" Ignis smacked her hand out of the way dangerously.
"If you touch master like that again I'll burn your ugly tail to a crisp!" Ignis had fires in her eyes and wasn't too happy at Sven being touched like that without his permission.
"My apologies, there's only so much hunk I can handle before my hands just start wandering!" Alice held up her hands guiltily. Sven was doing everything in his power to keep himself from becoming erect. No one had ever touched him like that before! His male urges were soaring and he could feel his heart rate increasing, just what had Alice done to him?!
When Ignis had calmed down, Alice perched herself up onto her tippy toes and whispered into Sven's ear so that Ignis wouldn't hear her. "I really wanna suck your dick, whenever you want me you can have me, you don't even need to ask you can just... Take." She finished breathily, the warm air tickling Sven's ear and sending an excited involuntary shiver down his spine. His face turned beet red as they continued to walk down the cobbled streets, Alice still skipping as if nothing really happened. He had to hide his painfully sturdy tent that had sprouted between his legs for the rest of the journey up the hill.
