Arrival and sorting

You step through mighty, open gates, guarded by male drow guards in armor They're armed with barbaric looking, jagged halberds.

As soon as you arrive, the drow that caught you unbinds your hands and tells you, Cleric and Fighter to stay where you are. Then she takes Druid and Paladin, and walks them over to some bored looking drow man sitting at a table. She points to your group, he nods and hands her a couple papers, which she begins to write something on.

You take in your surroundings.

Nervous looking slaves are running about in a large, open space, into which the drow woman has lead you. They are dividing groups of other, captured arrivals into two lines, each leading up into one of two plain looking but large buidlings.

They're doing so under the eyes of a towering orc, who is screaming at them a constant barrage of words in orcish, a brutish language which you do not speak, but only because you haven't deemed it worth studying yet. Angry veins bulge on his forhead.

He is dressed in black leather armor, leaning his muscular frame on a hefty, spike studded club.

Just now he has started bellowing commands at some unfortunate and confused looking half-elf, standing in one of the lines.

The orc comes over to him, points towards the second line with one hand, and lands his other hand in a startling "smack" on the half-elf's rear.

The half-elf gives a little jump and a yelp, muffled by his ballgag, and hurries out of the line and into the other. You notice his ballgag wears a symbol different to yours.

Meanwhile the orc is laughing a thundering laugh at him, drops of spittle flying from his tusks.

He glances over your huddled group, and starts shouting at a haggard looking dwarf nearby, who makes haste to touch each of you at the shoulder, briefly pushing you towards one of the lines.

The dismay is visible on the three of your faces, when you realize you are being divided among the two lines.

Cleric and you are sorted into one line, Fighter into the other. Druid, Paladin and the drow woman are nowhere to be seen.
