Chapter 2 by Daddylucien Daddylucien

What was Hannah reading?

Arabian Nights

In the night 4** schrezade said "I've got to know, but Allah is wiser that there was in the city of Bagdad during the age of the calyph Hārūn al-Rashīd, there was a Ritch merchant from a foreign land who had one single daughter whose name was Hannah, she was in **** beautiful and for the will of Allah she was of elegant stature, high-bosomed, with black eyelashes, and smooth cheek, and slender waist, and large hips, clad in the handsomest apparel; the moisture of her lips was sweeter than sirup; her figure put to shame the branches of the Oriental willow; and her speech was more soft than the zephyr passing over the flowers of the garden and lastly as a wonder of nature her hair was of color purple; as one of her describers hath thus expressed:—

"Her skin is the softest silk, and her speech clear and warm,

Her hair is the brightest flower, and her lips the reddest gem,

Her bosom is the fairest ivory, and her eyes the loveliest gems,

Her waist is the slender reed, and her breath the softest zephyr.

The moon of the season of Spring is the bridegroom of the Night,

And the bright stars of the sky are her guests and companions"

The merchant and her daughter lived happy and uneventful lives till Allah decided to take the soul of the merchant to his glory and now the merchant has left his beloved daughter behind full of riches but without much understanding of how take care of herself in society.

Where do we find Hannah?
