April pays a visit
As luck would have it, April had come through the door. Of all the times Texas had seen April, she couldn't have been happier to see her now! Any one of her enemies could have came, and thankfully, her trusted partner showed up!
April seemed to be holding some sort of pie. "Hey, Texas! I brought some pie to thank you for the other day!" She called out. She glanced around, yet saw no sign of her boss. "Weird. Texas is always up by this time. She never oversleeps..." She placed the pie on the table and her hands on her hips. "Did I just miss her?"
"April! April!" The tiny Texas called out to her deputy. "Down here!" This was a golden opportunity to get some assistance rather than be thrust into the grasp of danger, and she was not letting it pass up!
