Apologizing for continuity errors

So I don't know ahead of time wich characters I'm going to change the gender of and who I'm going to keep the same. I deside in the heat of the moment if they will change or not. If I looked through all my chapters to change the name of each character every time I change a characters gender, it will start takings hours since I keep adding more and more chapter's. So if you see in 1 of my older chapter's a character is male, but in a newer chapter they have been changed to female at that point in time but they still have their male name. I apologize. Thats because of my poor planing skills.
