Apologise to Akina

Something you didn't expect from this trip outside of Itheria was that people seemed to treat you with the same level of respect. In retrospect it isn't very surprising, but part of you thought that maybe after you crossed the border; you would be somehow lesser than what you were within your own realm. However, the guards of Phebis treat you with the same respect that your own men do and thus you had unrestricted access to the castle. During your tour, you got to see where all of your entourage was staying, so it was easy for you to retrace your steps to find it. It was a short and unobstructed journey to Akina's room.

You knock at her door. Sounds of her moving about inside meet your ear before the door cracks open just slightly. Her expression darkens a little, "Oh...It's you."

Doing your best not to get annoyed at her tone, you reply. "I know you're mad at me, but I'm still your king. Try to sound respectful...especially considering we're in a foreign land."

"Fine. Oh...It's you, Your Majesty" Her voice is dripping with sarcasm as she rolls her eyes.

"May I come in?"

"No" Her quick reply makes you blink in surprise.

"Please?" You look at her pleadingly.

An exaggerated sigh escapes her lips and she leaves the door. Keeping it cracked open and implying non-verbally your allowance to enter. You step in and the first thing you notice that Akina currently doesn't have a shirt on. She leans against the bed and crosses her arms grumpily while your eyes wander across her lacy bra that's hiding her breasts from you. Squirming a little, you attempt to defuse the awkwardness of the situation, "Sorry...I didn't know you were changing."

"I did try to refuse, but you insisted. Besides, it's nothing you haven't seen before." Her expression doesn't change.

"About that...It's actually what i came here to talk about." You close the door to evade any prying ears and turn back to her. "Look...I got carried away that night. I'm sorry. Is there any way I can make it up to you?"

She shrugs, "Probably not, the damage has already been done, but....i suppose I appreciate the acknowledgement that you fucked up. At the same time, I think this is a small problem inside of a bigger issue."

"It is?" Your eyebrows raise curiously.

"If I may be so crude, you seem to have a hard time keeping it in your pants. I mean Victoria, then Countess Marissa now me. I'm sure I saw you eyeing the barmaid the same night you slept with me. You've been quite reckless with your manhood." Her eyes dart down to your trousers.

A tinge of annoyance wells up inside you. Mostly the idea that she's been spying on you. "You know about Marissa?"

"I told you, clandestine activities you're involved will be kept secret. But you need to think about the future. If you go around knocking up every girl you see, when you die the kingdom is going to go to hell." She turns and pulls a shirt on.

You grimace. That thought had crossed your mind, but you don't really want to bring that up to Akina. "That wasn't really my intention."

She nods, but her expression has softened. "I know. Trust me when I say that me and my kind know all too well about the urges of men. I'm not saying that you should sleep with only one girl exclusively. Men aren't really made for that. The only thing that I'm saying is that you need to be careful who you sleep with and more importantly who you cum in."

"You're right..." You sigh. You're not sure if you'll actually follow her advice yet, but she does make a point that's difficult to argue with.

Akina sits on the bed, "Is there anything else you want and before you ask, I won't sleep with you..."

"In that case...I guess I'll leave you to your own devices." She certainly is good at seeing right through you.You turn to leave and head back to your room before going to bed.

The night is quiet, although you have a bit of a hard time going to sleep in an unfamiliar place. However, it certainly is nice to be able to spend a few days not traveling after the long trip. In the morning, you wake and dress for the day. The feast is tonight, so you have the whole day to yourself. You could go visit Akina again, or talk with Clara more. It might also be interesting to sit in at court to see how Claudius handles his court. Maybe pick up some tricks to use yourself.
