Apollo is late, and Trucy is so mad that she hides the coin from her.

After a quick kiss goodbye and a hurried effort to get dressed, Apollo ran out of Justin's apartment. She was a long way from the Wonder Bar, and her phone has magically disappeared with her transformation, leaving her with no ability to phone someone for a ride or use one of her taxi apps. That just left hailing down a cap, but after five minutes of frantic looking and waving, Apollo gave up and tried to run to the bar. It was several blocks before she was forced to stop, as running in her assistant's outfit was borderline impossible and really only let people see more of her boobs. With other choice, Apollo sped walked to the bar as fast as she could.

Her mind was so wrapped up in getting there as quick as possible that she still believed she might have succeeded as she approached the bar. It was only when Apollo entered the bar and saw Trucy finish performing her last trick of the day, with Mr. Wright forced to act as her assistant, that she knew she had failed. After sulking at a table near the back until the show was over, Apollo tepidly approached Trucy as she was putting away her stuff, alone for the moment as her father had gone to talk to the manager about inappropriate staring from a patron. "H-hi Trucy..." Apollo said, barely audible, but Trucy didn't look at her, not at all. "I'm really sorry, I lost track of time."

"You smell like sex," Trucy said quietly, the disappointment and anger clear from her tone. "I know I told you to let loose, but this wasn't what I meant, Polly." Once she had finished packing, she looked at Apollo with tears in her eyes. "I'm not giving you the coin back, not tonight. I...I don't know when I will, but I can't forgive you this easily, Polly." Her words hit Apollo hard, but before she could even reply Trucy said, "I'm going to tell Daddy and Athena that you had to cancel your trip. They should feel as abandoned by you as I do."
