Anya

Anya, thought Valerie as the shadowy figure entered the room, revealing herself.

Her former mentor turned nemesis was wearing a dangerously short sleeveless latex bodysuit. A pair of zippers went all the way around in the middle, and the suit was complemented by matching arm length gloves, thigh high stockings and sharp stiletto heels. Everything, including her lipstick, was black.

She looked strangely pleased with herself, walking with an assured swagger.

"My my, what do we have here?", laughed Anya. "Boss didn't believe me that it would be that that easy. Slip some false info about the location of the chip to the rookie, and wait for Ms. Valerie to walk into the trap."

Valerie didn't want to say anything for fear of letting information slip. However, the mention of Eva piqued her interest, especially since the agent had not been responding to her earpiece.

"You knew about Eva?", she asked cautiously.

"She made a few slip ups which made it easy to guess who she really was. As much as I hate to give you credit, not everyone is as skilled in field work as you. I taught you well.", Anya sneered.

"Where is she?", asked Valerie, her eyes narrowing. "What did you do to her?"

Anya let out a satisfied smirk. "You want to know, don't you? How about you see for yourself? It'll be your fate too, once I'm done with you." She walked to the command console, going past Valerie who carefully circled around her, keeping her distance.

Valerie didn't try anything just yet. She needed to know what happened to Eva, and just how much trouble she was in.

"Enjoy.", said Anya, pressing a switch on the console. "Consider it a preview for what's in store for you."

The large central display started showing the scene in a room. A woman was held by two men in the center, as several other armed men trained their weapons at her. Her hands and feet were bound by rope. A masked figure approached her -the masked man, Anya's master and the head of the shadow organization.

The woman lifted her head in defiance - it was Eva.

With bated breath, Valerie watched the scene in front of her.
