Anthro or Pet Suckers?

Scientists continue to study the virus, looking for a cure. Everyone lives their lives knowing that at any time their latent Cock Sucker virus could reactivate and transform them, changing their lives forever.

The biggest conspiracy surrounding the virus is that it was man-made, designed to create the perfect woman, or perfect man.
There are groups out there working on that premise that if someone made this, they could alter it to suit their own needs. Some groups are trying to subjugate and enslave people, others are working towards their version of a utopia.

What would happen if someone had a breakthrough and changed the virus to incorporate the nearest, or a random nearby animal while the transformation occurs.

What would happen if the virus is changed to allow for greater control or influence or changes while the transformation is happening, perhaps to create pet-Suckers who behave more like animals without having animal characteristics.

I personally haven't fleshed this part out, however, it's not like there aren't already a plethora of furry, anthros, pet-girl, and monster-girl stories and media.
