Answer for an answer

"How about we make a deal? Like I get to answer one question and you answer one for me as well." You mustered up the courage and spoke. You were clearly getting close to see what this girl was all about, so you had to start acting on it if you wanted any hope of getting out of there unscathed.

"A form of equivalent exchange? Very well, I agree to your terms. I can only commend you on your pursuit of knowledge." She answered, her hand automatically getting close to her panties again. "But my question still stands, and based on observations I made you didn't provide me with a satisfying answer."

You sighed. There was no real point of hiding the truth, or straight up lying. She may have appeared distracted, even now when massaging some of her more sensitive areas, but you knew she still was watching your every move, and you didn't want to get on her bad side.

"The bracelet I'm wearing. It has a devil trapped inside of it, her name is Ishtar. She is the one that was fighting those demon soldiers. She is now dormant, probably sleeping off the fight."

You said with reserve.

"Fascinating. How did she do that?" She took the bait.

"Hold on a second. It's my turn to ask question.?"

"Oh, you are right. Apologies, my eagerness got the better of me."

You smiled.

"First of all the question that was in my head since I saw you. What race are you? I don't believe I've ever seen anyone like you."

Now it was her turn to smile.

"I understand the confusion caused by my external image. I bear traits from several different species. In a scholarly manner you could state that I'm a part lion, part dragon and part goat. Simpler minds call me a Chimera, and I suppose it's acceptable and preferable to alternative."

She dropped her eyes, smile disappearing from her face. Seeing her mood shift like that, you didn't want to pry, but she went on anyway.

"They often use such demeaning terms like a freak or a monster for me. I... Don't approve." She squeezed last two words through her teeth, clearly holding a lot of resentment to whoever speaks to her like that.

"I think you look beautiful. And mysterious." You said truthfully.

"Your opinion holds no relevancy here, David. But thank you." She responded. "So how did your devil fight? You said she is trapped inside." She finally got to ask her question.

"I forged pact with her like a month ago. When I saw the demon army approaching, knowing that my companions and me will most likely die, I gave complete control to her. She did whatever she wanted with my body afterwards, using her own magic and means."

"I suppose that makes sense. Standard demon servant, the kind that serves as a basic **** in the army, is approximately three point four times stronger than an average human. Devils belong to entirely separate category. If that devil was free, it would require probably the power equal to that of demon kings offspring to stop her. How did you two meet?"

She asked, but you looked at her with a smile.

"Oh, yes. Your question. Ask!"

You went on like that for a while. You were talking about Ishtar, then your adventures, the monster girls close to you, she was very curious about everything. As for your questions, you learned that Carmen actually was studying under one of the first human explorers, a scientist that hoped to catalogue as many things as possible in this world, only to fall to charms of a bat women tribe. You didn't pry more into that. During those questions you also discovered that she is a rare mutation that occurs when several racial bloodlines are mixed generation after generation. Her father was a lion guy, her mother a dragon woman, and goat girl part came from her grand mother.

"Human female parts are, and this is just my hypothesis, an evolutionary step towards unification and easier procreation of all the species. It's like some kind of unknown factor is guiding the evolution processes. I mean, just look at me, I am a mixture of several different species, none of them a human, and I still have lots of humanoid traits." She explained why a lot of monster girls have human traits.

"Your theory does sound possible..." You agreed with her. You felt really good talking to her. Unfortunately, something was about to interrupt your friendly interrogation...
