As you descend the stairs, you marvel at how clean this area is, either it was cleaned before they put the house up as a prize, or it was kept in such good condition and it has its own circulation system or something that had prevented dust build up.
At the bottom you meet another door, this one white with the similar iron embellishments as the first and equally as annoying to get through as you try 8 different keys before it lets you through. And without any surprise it was built in the same way as the upstairs, thick, secure and locking automatically on its own.
On the other side of the door, was another room. A bit anti-climatic by the fact is was almost empty, and its contents were less than exciting, but a few additional doors did offer at least some chance. The room was probably 12feet in each direction, but it wasn't square. The one side was walled at an angle giving a 5th wall, that itself had a green door, and another on the wall to the left (blue) and right (red) of it.
Behind you with the entrance door is a series of sliding storage compartments directly in the wall, coat hooks and spaces for shoes or bags, thankfully no more locks you can see. The walls all have picture or poster frames, all sadly empty. And in the center of the odd shaped room is a desk and chair, facing the entrance/exit door, at a guess you assume it could act as some kind of reception for whatever went on behind those doors.
