Another choice and another timer.

By the time Maya got back from the bathroom, Sean had put his phone on the charger and then got to work. He'd felt less guilty about this change. Partly because the timer had **** him to make the change, and he didn't want to see what a missed timer meant. The other reason he felt less guilty about this change than he did about the stripper he'd created Saturday morning was because Emi...Maya got to pick this place herself. He kept one eye on his work, and the other on his phone. He didn't want to miss anything in case another change and timer popped up.

By the time their eight o'clock meeting was over, Sean noticed that not much about Maya's demeanor changed compared to Emily's. She still bantered and joked around with him, and her sense of humor seemed to be the same. He'd been put at ease when he was the only one who noticed the change and people didn't act like she was any different. His head was still reeling a bit from the change in her accent though. It was nice having someone with a different accent around. Maya still had a bit of an accent, but it was clear she had inherited features from a much more Spanish background. She rolled her "R"s a bit more and had a lilt to her voice that was clear she had learned English alongside Spanish.

It was just before lunch when Sean's phone notified him of another change. The App loaded up a phrase that was unique in that it was the first time it was offering to change the same person twice in a row.

"Maya Hernandez is secretly obsessed with anime." This time the timer read thirty minutes.

Unfortunately, Sean was away from his desk and would not return until after lunch...more than an hour from now.
