Anna's boredom relief

Anna let out another groan. The library hadn't seen any visitors for the day, leaving her with nothing to do except sort periodicals and read her own book behind her desk. By now, she was almost done reading, and she had already sorted the selections twice. None of her favorite customers came in, especially not the cute bookworm from the nearby college campus. She desperately needed to do something to keep her mind occupied.

While glancing at the stack of returned books beside her, she noticed one with a strange title. "Workplace Woes: How to spice up your job. Vol 5." Out of curiosity, she placed a bookmark in her novel and opened the new book to see what it offered.

To say she was stunned was an understatement. The book was filled with chapter titles and descriptions about going about the workday in an erotic fashion. Chapter titles included scandalous ideas such as, "Coming to work nude" or "Making the mail room a sex dungeon." There were even photos taken of the people who took the books advice.

At first, Anna was shocked and a little disturbed. But then she read some of the stories submitted by readers of the previous editions. They all thanked the authors for their ideas and described how their work lives had improved. A waitress claimed to get larger tips than ever after working naked in her restaurant. An office worker described how he finally confessed his feelings to his female boss, and that now they came to work naked every day together.

It all seemed too good to be true. But at this point Anna was ****. She needed some excitement in her life. The library was her favorite place in the world, but it was too dull. Something needed to change.

With a deep breath, she flipped the book open to a random chapter.
