Eliza sighed as she stepped off the boat with her suitcase and thought again about her scheduled meeting. She had lucked out in a way and had taken month off after this meeting. She'd been surprised at the meeting location but upon getting the meeting set she'd gone to her boss requesting the time off to coincide since she wouldn't have to pay for the travel expenses. Her boss had surprised her further by giving her the time off and paying for the entire Vacation. The only stipulation had been that she had to actually relax and enjoy her vacation.

She started walking up the pier to the reception desk thinking again of how her husband had seemed so indifferent about the vacation and refused to join her. Lately things had been more defunct at home than she'd cared to admit. Her husband Ted had become more of a workaholic than she'd ever anticipated leaving her feeling more alone than ever. She resolved then to really enjoy her vacation by finding someone for a fling, She was tired of taking care of her own needs and her husband's behavior had left her feeling justified in finally putting herself before anything else. She was pleasantly surprised to find check in was a breeze and followed the bellhop up to her room with a smile.
