I go to my history class and find Elisabeth already there. I sit down next to her and the bell rings. Mr. Fields turns to face the class.

"Alright class, today is the last day to work on this. If you need to come in tomorrow, don't forget to let me know. If you finish you're free to leave if you want." He says before the class starts working on their projects. Elisabeth and I quickly finish our project in about 30 minutes. Once we're done Elisabeth raises her arms. She stretches while I turn the project in.

"Thanks for being a good partner Eric. I need to study for my next class, I'll see you after the break." She says and I nod.

"Thank you to Liz." I say while grabbing my stuff. She pauses and turns to me.

"Liz? Why'd you call me that?"

"Oh, sorry. I have a friend who's named Elizabeth too. She just goes by Liz though." I tell her and she nods.

"'Kay, well I'll see you later." She says a little awkwardly before leaving. I soon follow her out after telling Mr. Fields bye. I head to the library and find an empty corner to sit in. I want to work on my Darkness school of magic. Prisma told me I could create ten spells with my school. So far I have Dark Spear, Dark Claws, Dark Weapon, Dark Chains, Dark Boots, Dark Cutter, and Dark Bolt. I still have three more spells I can make. What kind of spells would I want? I have four attack spells, including Dark Weapon. I have my boots and claws for enhancements. Dark Chains is nice for bunding and attaching to my Katana. I should get something for support. Maybe a shield or something? I have Mana Shield that I can use on the others. But it doesn't work on me. But it feels like a waste to use one of my spells on a shield. Hmm... Maybe I could make armor or something? No, my Darkness School seems to have high MP costs. Not to mention it could remove my armors effects, or have worse defense. So no shield or armor then. I feel comfortable with my variety of attack spells. So something for support then? Or... Yeah, what if I tried to create something like my Create Fire and Annihilation Energy spells? Something that'd let me manipulate or control... Shadows? What would it be? Yeah, let's make that. I think while setting my alarm and laying my head on my arms. I want to look like I'm sleeping to anyone who sees me. I start Meditating while thinking about my Darkness School. I focus on shadows enveloping me, similar to my Dark Claws but for my entire body. I then imagine it taking shape, as well as moving around in it. I'm not too sure why I started thinking about moving around in the shadows but I focused on that. I keep Meditating until my alarm goes off. Once it does I check my notifications.

New Skill: Shadow Move, Lvl 1

Shadow Move allows you to sink into your own shadow. You can then move around freely as a circular shadow on the ground. While in your shadow you are immune to all physical attacks. However, you will take triple damage from all magic attacks. You can only come out of your shadow if you're in another shadow or dark area. You can just raise part of your body like your arm or head, however, it will be susceptible to physical attacks while still taking triple damage from all magic attacks. MP Cost: 10 Mana per minute.

I have mixed feelings both during and after reading the spell's description. It's not a create spell as I wanted. It does still sound very useful though. But taking three times as much damage from all magic attacks is a problem. I don't think I should use it in any fights yet. But it would be great for sneaking around. I think before the bell rings. I get up and leave the library. I walk down to my metalworking class and grab my project. Fortunately, I'm almost done with it, all that's left is a little more detail on the walls and the fence. I'm wanting to put it on a larger piece of metal. I'd like to put a fence on the metal and make a path to the door. If I have the time I want to add something to the yard. Mr. Jones addresses the class once the bell finishes ringing.

"Listen up class. Today's the last day to finish up your project. If you need more time I'll be here tomorrow but make sure you let me know today if you're coming." He says before taking his seat. I get to work and quickly finish the walls. I get up and grab a square piece of sheet metal about a foot and a half wide. I place my miniature cabin on it and weld them together. I then start making the fencing around the side of the metal. It takes longer than I thought to weld the small strips of metal together. I barely finish welding them all when the bell rings. I sigh, a little disappointed I couldn't make the path. I stand up and put it back before leaving the class. I go to the bathroom while setting an hour-long alarm. Since it's my free period I want to return to my Domain. I do so before immediately entering my apartment. During my Meditation earlier I remembered something important I need to do that I forgot about. I go over to my desk and pull out the papers Asami gave me. These are for the old office building we were wanting to turn into our guild hall. I quickly fill out the paperwork, most of it just requiring my signature. Asami filled a lot of it in for me. I thank my lucky stars that I meet her. Once I'm done with it I return to my Domain.
