I accept the quest but don't plan to pursue it. Figuring it'd be better to have and not need it than need and not have it. I decide to start Meditating while thinking of darkness again. I want to get something like Dark Claws but for my feet. After 30 minutes my phone alarm vibrates and I start thinking of explosions instead. This is more of a want than any actual thoughtful needs. I just think it'd be cool to be able to cause explosions. After that alarm vibrates I open my notifications.

Dark Boots create boots of darkness around the wearers feet. These boots boost Agility by 20% of your Intelligence, they add 10% of your Intelligence as armor and slightly increase your running speed and jumping height. MP Cost: 50

Explosion lets the caster mark an object whenever they touch it. The mark can then be activated at any time causing it to explode, dealing the users Intelligence as damage. The object marked will take zero damage unless the caster chooses otherwise. MP Cost: 10

I sigh disappointed before I get two ideas. _What if I collected small stones. I could turn them into grenades. And I can also use _Dark Chain to toss something marked then pull it back. The bell rings and I stand up and pack my stuff for history. I greet Mr. Fields and sit down. He starts the class and hands out a pop quiz. Every student in the room groans except for me and the smart kid who everyone knows will someday run the country. I fill out my quiz excided to have some more free time. After 40 minutes I hand it to Mr. Fields, who takes it and dismisses me after checking that all the answers are filed in. This school has strict policies against cheating so any students who finish their tests have to leave the classroom. I store it again and scan and sell the spear on the L-market for another 5,500$. I take my Adventurers Chestplate and stick my Flame Core in it. Adding 5 more defense and 15% flame resistance. I check the time and see I have two hours left. I cast Dark Boots and try putting them away like I do with my claws.

It's strange how used to this I'm getting. I just permanently altered my body and am glad. Well, I've been using Augment Body without these thoughts, but those aren't... well changing my limbs into dark shadows. I laugh at my thoughts and enter my blacksmithing workshop. I take my katana and want to add a ring at the bottom of the hilt. I'm hoping that Dark Chains can hook onto it, then I can throw it. Honestly though I'm just doing this because I think it'd be cool. I'm doubting my ability to use this in combat. After twenty minutes I finish and equip it back to my Secondary Equipment. I start thinking of what to do for the remaining hour and forty minutes. I step back into the main room and find Luna and Asami sitting on the couch. Lunas covered in sweat and Asami is smiling triumphantly.

"Eric! Is school over already?" Asami asks hearing me walk in. Luna looks up to me but seems to tired to give me her normal tackle/hug.

"No, but until Wednesday, when my metalworking class moves on, I'll have a two hours free. I have about an hour and a half left. So why is Luna so sweaty?" I ask sitting down next to Asami.

"We were practicing, I tried sending my thoughts through the ring to order the spirit and Luna sparred with it. I won!" Asami says beaming and smiling.

"I only lost because of that stupid spear!" Luna adds sourly causing Asami to giggle.

"So, did you learn anything Luna?" She nods at my question and sighs.

"I learned that I might need Beast magic." She answers bitterly. I reach over and pet her head.

"I did say it would help you, and it does suit you." She smiles and after I see Asami pout, I pet her.

"So Eric." Asami starts in a sultry voice. "You have some time right?" I smile and pull her onto my lap.

"I might, why do you ask?" She smiles and starts taking off her top. Luna craws to my side, already naked, and grabs my arm.

"Don't forget about me!"

"I could never do that." I tell her petting her head. Asami kisses me and I stand up. I carry Asami to the bedroom with Luna following close behind. I store my clothes away in my inventory and toss Asami on the bed. She starts giggling and Luna jumps in my arms. I kiss and hold her for a minute before tossing her on the bed as well.
